Transition meditation involves practices that help you process and adapt to changes in your life. It serves as a guiding tool, allowing you to navigate life transitions more easily and calmly.

Transitions represent the internal shifts in identity, possibilities, and beliefs that enable us to adjust to new situations. When faced with unfamiliar circumstances, it is common to feel apprehensive about how to embrace them. Transition meditation can help reduce stress and anxiety, navigate the changes we encounter in life, promote inner calm, and build resilience.

Additionally, meditation offers other benefits, including:

- Improved sleep

- Enhanced overall well-being

- Boosted immune system

- Lowered blood pressure

- Increased compassion, both for ourselves and for others around us

When we meditate, it's important to block out distractions and focus solely on the practice. We must confront the change in order to lead a productive and calm life.

Thank you for this thread pam!

What are some ways you meditate? Sometimes I do guided meditation, especially when I have a lot of racing thoughts on my mind, other times I meditate in silence. It always helps me to relax and feel better.

I don't meditate , the truth be told, I can't sit still or shut up for two minutes 😂 but I'm very interested in the benefits of it and trying to incorporate it into my day 💜

listening to music that give us the ability  to go into the music as a form of meditation this for us most times is christian worship songs. we also at time do guided  medications  to we find with them it has to be only a few types think we like the night walk type and the crystal  cave ones. we long time ago use to write guided  meditation  ones

Do you block out everything around you?

sometimes we can block out everything around us but other times seem like we can not we sometimes to help we like paint what we mediating  on this can help us block  everything out other then the music and the painting we also do this with coloring seem to help us as we mediated  to block out things  around us better

Some ways I meditate is by listening to a calming music.

Yes. But sometimes I enjoy doing something else like journaling while I am listening to music.

I feel lighter and calmer. More relaxed.

Wanted to say hello! I am.new and I am.a.mindfulness junkie!

Transition mediations, this sounds good to embrace change.

I have been worried about fall and a.potential mood slip. I have been doing mindful mediation where I can move around through the day. I have been contemplating how everything changes, weather, moods, aging and such!

@stormieandpaws that's really interesting. You must have a good imagination! Time flies doesn't it.

Yes I can see where you could still be doing the same ones and enjoying them. They can bring comfort, a feeling of home, resting, safe and secure.

Thanks again 🌈

What are some ways you meditate?
I do mostly Loving Kindness, which took some time to cultivate the feeling. i was worried i would not be able to bring a.feelng of love and.kindness up

Had been kind of flat feeling. I started with the feeling I have with puppies and built from there. 😻

Do you block out everything around you?
I also do alot of mindfulness mediation, where I let sensations, thoughts and feelings come and go without trying to control them, just let them.pass through. I let the outside world in. Things.like sounds can be a.focus of mediation

How do you feel after meditation?
After loving kindness I feel glowing, warm, content .like I have all I need.

After mindfulness mediation I feel calm, like the world has settled down.with me. I also can feel.no change at all, still have racing thought ect.. I try to watch them come and.go with no evaluation, no attachment, no right or wrong. They are just there passing though,.visiting.

Thanks for asking!
