I have used mindfulness everyday even if I am not feeling a lot of stress, just to keep myself in a more relaxed mind. Usually I listen to soft music and walking outdoors when the sun is shining. The warmth of the sun has always been helpful.

HIya baby elesmileyheart Firstly- give yourself some credit. You do amazing work here for the community and team!!

Mindfulness I guess to me is like a tub strainer. It prevents me from going total cra cralaughIt helps me to literally stop-drop and think-lol It helps me to not really go off on something but to take in the facts only. It helps me with the intensity of feelinggs and thoughts. So mindfulness even doing it for many of moons- still I learn new exciting things from the team and the communitysmiley

thanks to each one of youheart

Heyy lovely to have you back!!

I've learnt so much about mindfulness through joining this community! Before, I didn't even know what it was laugh but I've learnt that there are many different definitions for it and you can interpret it how you would like to. I personally view mindfulness as being aware of the present moment. I've learnt about how it can be practised and the impact it can have on our lives - it is really easy and makes a huge difference. I love this community so much and there's so much more to learn and discover. Thank you to everyone that is a part of this community, and a part of my own mindfulness journey. I'm very thankful to have this in my life

I learned to be more mindful when interacting with others , I also show more compassion, learning to be mindful to myself, to do what my body needs. What I learned helped me very much in my daily life and particularly understanding parts of myself, like the introvert part of my personality. Accepting it as being okay and not trying to see it as my weird part that loves to be alone with my thoughts. May be this describes it best, learned I am okay and the others are okay too. Still working on other parts too. smiley

What I really actively learned on 7Cups about Mindfulness, is that there is no way to do it wrong. Everyone has it's own style and though the principles of Mindfulness are the same, how to get there is different for lots of people smiley

The point where I'm at now is the non-judging part. Often when I practise mindfulness I get distracted by other thoughts, and I have a hard time not to be annoyed with myself when I do. So that's something I'd like to work on some more, also by being kinder towards myself overall heart

for me, mindfulness is something i need in order to know what I am feeling, thinking and expiriencing.

I am so used to living in the past or projecting the past into the future that I am seldom in there here and now.

And that is where the good stuff happens!

That is where action and creation can happen.

That is where I feel safe.

If I am not mindful - my emotions get all disregulated... i act on the emotions instead of a more " wise mind:

I tend to act out rashly instead of from a centered place within.

It , for me, is sort of like taking the back seat and being one with my observing self ( yeah - I know , so much ACT in this - lol)....but it is how I understand it.

I am tired of not being fully present and have made a personal vow to stay mindful :)

Not that I push away thoughts that come up - its more of an acceptance of the thoughts being there without having to chase aftwer them - just knowing and observing them, then, bringing myself back to my anchor.
