@ASilentObserver Hi Obs! :) How are you? I hope you are having a wonderful week so far! <3 I love this post! I love being grateful for so many things in my life, and I ensure that I practice gratitude on a daily basis. I always take the time to reflect what I am grateful for today, recently, and overall in my life. It helps bring positivity, peace, and happiness to me! I used to struggle with this years ago, but writing down what I was grateful for on a daily basis has helped it become a part of me! I hope and wish everyone can be able to do the same as well! <3
I really like this. I try and write down what i'm thankful for every other day. It really has helped and I found new things to be thankful for. Things I would have never thought of.
@Tinycupcake oh gratitude really aims me in a positive outlook. Glad it works for you.
Woohoo love thankful thursday!! The Appreciation and Gratitude subcommunity is a great place that I love to go and share what I am thankfl for, and I agree that it does produce better mental health by focusing on dealing with negative emotions effectively.
Happy thursday :D
@ASilentObserver
I've had to stop and come back to this three times...
I've not realized how important gratitude can be to helping yourself along your path.... I guess I'll need to dwell on this one some more.
Thanks for a great post!
@diplomaticconfucious I agree that we keep needing to come back to gratitude again and again. It just makes us so much closer to where we really are not where our clouded thoughts can mislead us into believing.
@ASilentObserver
Hia Silent thank you for the awesome post today
I think part of mindfulness is also the gratitude part too. Showing/giving gratitude helps us to feel good but also has the others around you feel appreciated. I believe all this works hand in hand in helping us with communicating on our mental health. Showing gratitude brings folks closer to you
@RumpleSteeleSkin yes you are so awesome with your dedication to gratitude and supporting others.
@ASilentObserver
thanks observer for your post and the videos.
i watched the first one (do the other 2 later) - awesome! we create more useful pathways in the brain and simultaneously train our memory too! i will do this exercise during the day, to remind me in intervals of the good things, and in the eve continue my journal. when things are not going so well it is easy to forget about the good stuff we have in live and getting this into a routine helps to focus more on the positive.
@amiablePeace77 I take so much hope from what you say about the brain and how impressionable it is. We can all rejoice that what we focus on will help us build a better life for ourselves. Thanks for all you contribute to mindfulness
