One of the greatest successes of my life was the day when I graduated from my university along with the completion of the one-year internship since it seemed as if I won't be able to do it as I had to face many challenges during my academic years. It nearly felt impossible to achieve what I always wanted to do because of the workplace and the people around me who always had to say something or the other regarding my sincerity towards my profession. They always tried to pull me down by making me feel inferior. I lost trust in my own friends the day when they were just okay with the fact that my haters used to brainwash them about me. It felt like a loophole from which escape was impossible. 'Do or die' they say but for me, it was a 'do and then die' kinda situation. When people challenge me about something it becomes more important for me to prove that I am the best and way beyond their imagination. I am glad that I was able to successfully proved myself. I always wanted to become a doctor & I finally did it! The day when I was called on stage & honored with the title 'Dr' before my name, I could see my parents feeling proud of me. My parents were my backbone throughout the journey. Although I had to face many hardships, I dealt with the worse of people, God provided me with the best of parents, the best of life. I can go on with all the blessings that I am blessed with in my life but even after that, I won't be able to complete the list of my blessings. There's so much to be grateful for! I am content with my life. I was actually inspired by poetry from my 8th grade called "Get up and win the race", till today I thank the poet for it was this poetry that remained instilled in my mind & never let me give up ever. I never gave up, I never will.

#1. Name a quality you have that you dont give yourself enough credit for.

One thing I can think of is my writing skills/grammar. In general I know Im a pretty good writer I mean Ive come a long way in the past 12 years, however I always doubt myself by thinking that my grammar could be better which equals to me thinking that its not good enough. So when I do get a compliment on my writing I always kinda just shrug it off...

#2. Tell us how you felt while writing it down!

I dont really know Im not sure how to describe it... I guess just how Id expect anyone to feel if they just had a revelation within themselves in front of others 🤷🏻‍♀️.

3. A quality that I have that I don't give myself enough credit for is my honesty. I'm actually quite honest, I've told a few white lies here and there, but I don't lie straight at someone and feel extremely uncomfortable while lying. On the other hand, I like to keep to myself and don't really show my true self to anyone. That's why I often find myself calling myself a liar, a fraud, a fake etc. I shouldn't say that and instead, appreciate my honesty, because even if I don't show my true self, I don't lie.

If I'm honest I didn't feel really well while writing this down. I don't even know what I believe and if what I wrote is even true.

My greatest success is overcoming my own negative thoughts and changing my life for the better.

A couple years ago, I was in a really dark place. I viewed my negative thoughts as a ravine, and each day I was getting closer and closer to the edge. Some days, I would surrender myself to the ravine, but I always found someone saving me, pulling me out of the gorge. The number slowly began to shrink, though, and I realized I had to do something for those still supporting me. I made a conscious choice to resist the call of the ravine and walk away from it. It was hard, but through self-care, writing down my thoughts, being honest with myself, and seeking help, the call of the ravine slowly began to fade. I was able to walk further and further away from it, towards the line of those I cared about and happiness. It got easier over time to resist the ravines call, and I could move further and further away from it each day until I was free from it. I let myself heal, then walked back over to the ravine I thought was so large and deep only to find it was nothing more than a shallow scrape in the ground and that it wasnt as big as it was.

Since then, I have lived a happier, freer life and I wouldnt have been able to be who I am without overcoming my dark thoughts.

I don't give myself enough credit for my ability to make people happy. I've noticed that even though I'm dealing with my own issues, I still somehow manage to make people happy when I notice that they're feeling down.

It felt kinda weird typing that out tbh. It felt really really weird...
