Realistic Goals & Tiny Wins

We’ve all been there: January 1st arrives, and we suddenly expect ourselves to become entirely different people. We set massive goals, buy the gym memberships, and by February, we feel like we’ve failed.
This year, let’s try something different. What if your goals weren't 'grand,' but they were honest? What if they were built to fit the life you actually have, not the one you think you 'should' have? Let’s talk about sustainable, realistic growth for 2026.
✨ Instead of a total overhaul, what is a tiny, 5-minute habit you want to anchor into your day?
✨ Sometimes the best goal isn't what we add, but what we remove. What is one thing you are giving yourself permission to stop doing in the New Year?
✨ Think about your busiest, most tired day. What is a goal you could still achieve even on that day?
✨ Instead of a rigid goal, pick one word to be your North Star for the first three months of the year.
✨ What is one 'realistic' goal you’re setting for 2026?
Before you post your goal, ask yourself: "Is this a goal I actually want, or is it a goal I feel guilty into making?" If it's a "guilt goal," toss it! Post a "Joy Goal" instead: something you’re genuinely excited to try or learn.
If you would like to work on your goals and find wellness with accountability and support, you are welcome to join our Wellness Accountability Huddle - a closed group, open 24/7 for everyone working on goals.

Instead of a total overhaul, what is a tiny, 5-minute habit you want to anchor into your day?
I would like to take a couple of minutes every day to just put lotion on. Just something as simple as that. Put lotion on and take care of my skin. 😊
Sometimes the best goal isn't what we add, but what we remove. What is one thing you are giving yourself permission to stop doing in the New Year?
I am giving myself permission to stop stressing over one thing, and because of that, miss out on everything else. I will try my best to redirect myself so that I can focus on the big picture, instead of zooming in on one little issue that popped up.
Think about your busiest, most tired day. What is a goal you could still achieve even on that day?
On my busiest most tired day, a goal I could still achieve would be putting lotion on, I think I could do that while being at my tiredest.
Instead of a rigid goal, pick one word to be your North Star for the first three months of the year.
Hope
What is one 'realistic' goal you’re setting for 2026?
I will put lotion and chapstick on at least once a day, to start taking care of me instead of taking care of everything else in my life. 😊
@PressContinue ❤️🌷Yes, continue to blossom! :)
@SoulfullyAButterfly Although it gotta be done longer if I could do at least 5 minutes of stretching it would be so very beneficial to me and would like this to be a permanent goal that can eventually be increased.
I would like to stop looking for people to join me everytime I wanna go out for some enjoyment and learn to find enjoying doing stuff alone sometimes.
A goal I could do on my most tired and busiest day is to recite the rosary for 20-25 minutes.
I’m lost as to the description of the next question therefore have no clue how to respond to it.
A realistic goal for me would be to stretch 5 minutes a day.
Love the bitesized prompts!

For 2026 I want to continue the goal I've had for the last month:
To make the time, at least once a day, to stop and think "this is important". To not even to try to define what "this" is, beyond acknowledging that pausing to check in is important. I'm important. The time I need to be who I want to be is important.
