Honestly, I felt so much pressure about the milestones and I made it worse. She’s almost two and she sleeps through the night most nights now. The last two have been rough, but now I just accept it instead of waiting my money on books, classes, and sleep specials. Trust me, I’ve tried it all and it was basically flushing my money down the toilet especially the Taking Cara Babies classes that are so popular. My daughter just did her own thing and it finally passed.

Biggg love to all the beautiful parents, guardians and caregivers here!❤❤❤
The meme made me laugh hard! I can relate indirectly, especially, when my friends complain about how difficult it is for them. 🤣
I pray and hope that may it turn out to be a better experience for me and the rest of the singles out there, in the future! Ameen @SoulfullyAButterfly
For the little babies,
I would bathe my son up in Johnson’s lavender, baby wash and lotion in a nice bottle, but I would up the ounces and I always provided him with warm bottles.

Johnson's and kids are inseparables, I wonder there's anyone existing who hasn't used their products in a lifetime. And I hope your baby is doing good. 😊
For the really little babies, it honestly just feels like you are at the mercy of whatever they decide their sleep schedule to be. 😂 I can try to set general ideas of bedtimes and attempt to follow a routine, but ultimately if they decide they aren't going to sleep for 2+ hours past bedtime, then it just feels like I'm out of luck.
I have an almost 4 year old that still really struggles with sleep and a 5 month old... so I'm rating my sleep quality a generous 2 or 3? 😂
Mine are almost grown and out of the house. I guess not much has changed however.
The elders all said sleep when the baby sleeps. It's true. Don't be stubborn and grab those naps when you can.
I made the nursery into a place for myself an the baby to sleep. I had a twin bed and the pack and play. My kids refused to sleep in the crib even after buying replacement mattresses. I gave it away and added the twin bed to the small nursery. We used a simple changing pad onto of an old dresser to keep more room in the nursery for the same rocker my mother used for me. We are short so these are rare.
I would wake up and nurse baby and her back in pack iand play crib and sleep on the twin. I also slept in my own room with my husband after they were not so newborn. I spent any from him because he worked early and needed good sleep.
Later when we had a second baby, we had a toddler bed, using that fancy mattress they refused before, a pack and play, a twin bed and a dresser. When the youngest was big enough to move to toddler bed I put the twin actress on the floor. They would play on it together. I would close the door put Christmas bells on it and sleep on that mattress. I told the kids I would clean up their toy mess of i could sleep while they played quietly. I usually woke up 30 mins later with two kids sleeping next to me.
I loved the mattress in the floor, they jumped on it occasionally with me fearing much less about falls, but mostly used it as a place to play with little toy sets. Often they were seated on floor and using it as a riser to spread out horses and tiny dolls and pets hop toys and the like.
We kept a water resistant sheet with regular sheet over it. It was easy enough to change every couple of days.
Deciding to use our spaces differtly helped alot. We ate in our kitchen and moved out dining table to the living room where a sofa would usually go and then divided the dining end of great room space with the couch. The TV and kids stuff was then surrounded on three sides and the dining room and love sest and chair was then neat and tidy when you walked into the house and the kids stiff was hidden by the back of the sofa.
I could crash on the sofa while they had screen time or were playing in their living room. I still had a presentable living room entrance, and a place to take power.
There were many nights when one or the other refused to sleep, we would go to nursery and I would close door put bells on it and snooze on mattress while offending kid paced or played whatever until they dropped onto mattress exhausted. The room was "baby proofed"
Personally when it comes to being a toddler mom sometimes tou have to lay with them for comfort because usually they dont like sleeping on their own just yet. So for my daughter i provide cuddles 💕
@SoulfullyAButterfly I've struggled with sleeping issues as well
