7 Cups 6th Birthday: What 7 Cups Means to You!
Happy Thursday! Hope you've been enjoying the festivities! Let's keep it going with a couple questions! Feel free to answer either or both!
I've been thinking a lot about what 7 Cups means to each person, as each person's journey is entirely unique. So, with that in mind:
🧁 If you could describe 7 Cups in one sentence (as if you're telling someone about it for the first time), what would you say?
🧁 How would you describe how 7 Cups makes YOU feel in one sentence?
(If you go over one sentence, that's okay, too :P).
- 7 Cups is a website where people come to find empathy and support with any sort of issue that is burdening them, and caring volunteers do their best to make sure they find what they need.
- As a listener, 7 Cups can be a great challenge, but it fills my heart with joy when I hear people saying that talked to me really helped, what I do in 7 Cups makes me feel like I'm really doing something important and making my difference for people, in my own way.

7 Cups is an online space, where I can feel like me again.
7 Cups is an online space, where I gained an identity.
7 Cups is an online space, where I can learn about life, through other people's hardships, situations, personal expierence and personal life's.
7 Cups is an online space, where I gained a stronger self.
7 Cups is an online space, where I can feel inner happines at certain times. And I can feel almost unheard a little at others.
7 Cups, helps me to grow, blossom and learn about other's in life.

I have learned a lot going to 7 cups.
🧁 How would you describe how 7 Cups makes YOU feel in one sentence?
Seven cups makes me feel comfortable.
To me, 7 Cups means a chance; a chance to listen and to be listened. It's an opportunity; people are able to see that they aren't alone, that there are many who can understand their feelings and struggles. It's like a life boat. It holds you when you're drowning and it shows you that you can fight this through, that you can do things you thought you can't. -
As a member 7 Cups meant to me a lot, it show(ed) me that I deserve to be listened, that my problems aren't random thoughts, that they are valid.
As a listener 7 Cups means even more. It's a way to show people what this community showed to me, to help them realize that it's okay to seek help when they need it and that it's okay to talk about whatever they have in their mind. -
7 Cups is the land I feel my grounds. Its the sense when things don't make sense around me. Its the place where I find myself positivie with soul and spirit. Trust me 7 Cups had really helped me to be more open about feelings I had surpressed and did not dare to even acknowledge within me. I just wish I can tell others about it but I don't want to scare them, thinking I might have a problem (I know I do!). I just wish to keep that to myself.

7cups is something i found in a very challenging time of my life and it has helped me stay grounded.
As a listener nothing gives me more satisfaction to just be a listening ear for a while or for as long as it helps someone.
"It's an online therapy system, I love it --you can pay for a therapist, but if you want, you can just use the communities and guided therapy paths they have available, which is mostly what I do."
7cups, to me, means growth, recovery, community, and better choices!
