2016 PB Award Winner: Anomalia!!

PB: for being a huge believer in the vision of 7 Cups of Tea, awarded by the founder, the first PB award will be awarded July 2014

Every year there are so many incredible contributions made by volunteers in our community. Selecting one person to receive the PB award is always incredibly challenging because each and every contribution is equally valuable and important. The 7 Cups 3rd Birthday is all about each of you and honoring your special contributions which have made our community stronger. Wed like to truly honor each and every one of you for making 7 Cups a special place, we could not have made it this far without you.

With that said, we will be giving out the PB Award to one teen & one adult individual who has made valuable contributions to the community both as a leader, and also as a friend and peer to all of us. In this event we will focus on our adult award winner. This person is @Anomalia.

Throughout the year, Anomalia is taken ownership of projects which make our community stronger. She is someone that every listener feels they can go to and know she will hear them. More specifically, she is a Forum Ambassador & the Suggestion Box Leader. Her work with the suggestion box has helped to improve transparency & communication between the admin team & the community. As a result, increased trust between all of us has been established. Additionally, Anomalia has helped the community management & product teams prioritize relevant updates which were submitted by all of you via the suggestion box. Some of these include:

- Age categories added to browse listeners

- Age category chatrooms

- Verified listener badge added to search on browse listeners

- Forum flagging feature

- Increase forum organization & 3 new Listener forum categories

- Mock Chat Master badge

- Needs reply filter in forums

Additionally, Anomalia has been a voice for the community when it comes to site updates & giving feedback. She provided valuable feedback while creating the listener behavior point system and the launch of new features like the therapist community & sub-communities.

Anomalia, thank you for sharing your special gifts with the community over the last year. You bring honesty, integrity, grit and resilience to your work. All qualities we look up to. Your contributions have helped advance the mission of 7 Cups and for that reason, we are excited to present you with the 2016 Adult PB Award.
