Mental Health Month: Pets & Mental Health

Week Two of our Mental Health Awareness Month celebration is all about family. For many of us, our pets are like family members too! They provide us with affection and companionship when we need it and are always willing to listen when we have a bad day.
Many of you have already met my cats, Subaru and Leonardo DiCatrio.
Share a pic of your pet and tell us how they have positively impacted your mental health and wellness.

Your doggos are all grown up now 😭💜
@summertimeSamness
They'll be two this year! :( Growing up way too fast.
pets are best listeners ever!
1) they don't judge
2) they are happy when we talk to them about our issues
3) they don't interump us
4) they never repeat anything to everyone, all is secret
5) they never argue with us or engage into conflict
6) they dont pretend they will fix our issues
etc.
She's the best snuggler
hi @CoreDad87, I edited your post so we can see the picture
@TortueDesBois thanks. I'm using the app so it's difficult for me
Ah, Subaru and Leonardo DiCatrio—now that’s a formidable partnership if I’ve ever encountered one! Pets genuinely embody family in the most profound manner. They offer unconditional love, listen without bias, and somehow always sense when you require that additional measure of comfort. 🐾
This subject resonates deeply with me. I understand what it feels like to experience solitude, even amidst a crowd—and how significant it is to have a gentle refuge when the world seems burdensome.
To all the wonderful individuals reading this: if you ever find yourself in need of a companion, a sympathetic listener, or simply someone to remind you of your worth, please feel free to reach out. My arms—and heart—are perpetually open for new relationships. 💕
Whether you’re enduring a challenging day or simply wish to share a smile, I am here for you. No judgment, no pressure—just compassion, conversation, and perhaps a little pampering if you’re fortunate 😉
With warmth and positive energy,
Sean Myers
