Happy Volunteer Day 2021!

I volunteer for others because I know that I can help people feel better so why not? And I learn more about other cultures and how people live and I feel like it's important not to be arrogant to things that are going on for some people.

I came to seven cups looking for support. I was in a lonely, hopeless place. I needed someone to listen to me, to validate my fears and worries. I found one of the most supportive listeners I’ve ever had the good fortune of knowing. Their compassion and willingness to help me inspired me to do the same.

I’ve been that person looking for help. I know what it’s like to be vulnerable and talk about things, and how scary and uncomfortable that can be. I want to be that shoulder to cry on. I want to be that safe haven someone out there needs.

Big shoutout to @sweetBubbles5405 who has been there for me since I joined 7cups. Thank you for everything ❤️

I just think it's something that you're supposed to do. I mean, if you want to be part of a community, part of a family, part of humanity, part of anything outside yourself - then you should be willing to put in the work to keep things humming.

Plus it makes me happy.

I love helping people especially teenagers!

Life has a special meaning by sharing and caring and volunteering is one of the best ways to show it.

I mainly came to volunteer here because 1) you can get community service hours 2) help other people cope with things going on in life 3) I had some downtime due to the ongoing pandemic and 4) I know I can make a great impact among other people.

Volunteering is indeed a strength that God gives to everyone. Although you might not received material things coming from those people whom you help but always do remember as making other people smile through your help is definitely priceless so cheer up and fighting 😇🌟🎖️❤️ Thank you to all volunteers.
