@tommy I'm currently reading The Lord Of The Rings, which is the sequel to The Hobbit. I am enjoying it immensely, and I would highly recommend it. It has very well-developed characters, an interesting plot, rich scenery descriptions, etc. I read  Hobbit in junior high, and I loved it. My goal is to finish The Lord Of The Rings by the end of the year, and then I'll read A Song Of Ice And Fire or The Hunger Games.

@tommy I'm reading The Price of Peace (The Seven Isles Book 1). It's a real easy read. I'm not sure how the scenes flow so smoothly from one to the other. My mind just grasps the imagery well. It's for readers who enjoy fantasy and adventure.

Still on "Basic Freud. Psychoanalytic Thought for the 21st Century" by Michael Kahn, Ph.D. I am a Jungian but highly recommend this book. Suitable to beginners with no prior psychoanalytic knowledge.

Listening to “The art of resilience” by Ross Edgley and reading “Daisy Jones and The Six” by Tailor Jenkins Reid (this I picked up because I was looking for reading something outside of my bubble and I looked at what a neighbour on the flight was reading)

I'm reading Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, but I don't think I'll finish it. The stoicism just isn't for me. It sounds like trying to be a perfect human being that simply isn't realistic. The author prohibits himself any negative feeling like jealousy, dissatisfaction or anger, when according to psychology the more you avoid your emotions, the more they persist.

Maybe I'll come back to this book someday, but right now it's not the best read for me.
