Which book did you buy/borrow recently?
You don't have to have necessarily read it (great if you did!) but you know those that pile up your To-Be-Read mountain even more 👀
Could be hard copies, e-books, audiobooks, anything ✨
Mine would be these pretty ones 😞✨
[Turtles All The Way Down by John Green and On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong - both paperbacks!]

For me it was Locklands by Robert Jackson Bennett and Jade City by Fonda Lee
Recently I bought Atomic Habits by James Cear ... It's a very nice book for someone looking to work on their day to day habits :)
@loyalace9302 ooh *high fiveee*
This is really a great book !
I'm currently reading "Mercury In Retrograde", by Paula Froelich. Wonderful escapism from the daily rigors of life.

Hello River. Have bought the following book today :::
The Monkey Theory by Sfurti Sahare .
@theriverissinging
The book I purchased most recently would likely be "The Midnight Bargain" by C.L. Polk. It's a fantasy book about a sorceress practicing magic in secret in a society where women are denied magic, and locked into "marital colours" that cut off their magic as a protection to their unborn children. Of course it's a hardcover because I'm a hardcover snob, so if I buy rather than borrow a book it's most likely hardcover.

Recently I borrowed the first book of the Monument 14 trilogy by Emmy Laybourne from my boyfriend. It was a pretty intense and interesting read! Although the dystopian, apocalyptic plot did have me feel a little anxious… 😅
I bought two Colleen Hoover books recently, ( Pinterest made me buy it after all that hype)
The first one I read was it all ends with us and now I'm reading the sequel to this book,
it all starts with us.
@theriverissinging
I bought myself 2 books for Christmas and it's frustrating seeing them on my table waiting to be opened but I'm excited. Haha.
Anna Dressed in ----- (word may be triggering for some) by Kendare Blake
and
Gideon The Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
I would described what the books are about but both are YA horror fiction. If you're interested in the premise, the books are available on Amazon but please remember the books may be triggering for some.
