Well atm I'm mostly reading my school books, 2 languages (one is my native one) and 9th grade math.
Im leaving some other books after I finished my first exams which are in a month.
The novel I'm reading for fun (which I haven't read In a while) is:

The Talisman by Stephen King
Ooo, I love Stephen King books! How is that book?
Pretty good, it reminds me of his Dark Tower series or Fairy Tale, one of his newest ones.
This reminds me that I should go back to reading my book, I started it last December but, haven't had the time to finish it. It's 'The Shining' by Stephen King. I read it before fully and I've been rereading it for too long.

- the rabbit hunter by Lars Kepler
- working through the Bible, currently finishing up the first book of Samuel
- looking around a watercolour technique book too but that's less of a read more artistic prep thing

@jesusredeemedme2425 I'm rereading Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne and Wonder by R.J. Palacio. I started The 100 year old man who climbed out the window and disappeared, by Jonas Jonasson, but got triggered and stopped. And I'm reading a collection of Kafka's short stories at the college library for the first time :D

@jesusredeemedme2425 The 100 year old man one? Its historical comedy fiction. A 100 yr old man runs away on his birthday and meets historical figures. A lot of very random and shocking events occur
I read the 100-year-old man book also and I thought it was hilarious. There's a second one I would like to read that one too.
@reservedOwl321 it's meant to be hilarious, yes. The careless for-comedy-reasons attitude towards life and the...loss of it had the opposite effect for me though. I just felt shocked xD I'll definitely give the book a second try- once im in the right mindset

I just finished Liar, Temptress, Soldier, Spy: Four Women Undercover in the Civil War It is nonfiction and pretty long, but was great and everyone in our book club enjoyed it as well.
Currently reading a compilation of stories by Joe Lansdale, the "Mojo Storyteller".
If you want some good horror by Lansdale, I suggest looking up Bubba Ho-Tep (it was made into a movie--you can read about it here) & The Drive-In. Be warned, however...some of Lansdale's stories can be triggering to those of a sensitive disposition.
