i have learned how to be a better communicator. I have learned that I can be stong in the face of conflict. I've also learned that it is okay and even fun to be single. I guess I've learned how to be comfortable being alone and how to better screen partners before jumping into relationships.
To be more aware of when my partner or somebody close to me manipulate me. And to call it out and work through it.
I've learnt that not everything is my fault and that some things are not meant to be
one thing i have learned is to keep YOUR integrity in check and don't compromise it. as my nanny always says, "be the bigger person".
One thing I learned from my relationship challenges is that communication is very, very important
You should know your values and respect yourself. A lot of the time we see the problems in the significant other and choose to ignore it and we create a delusion of them that doesn't exist. We start loving the illusion. And when something finally shatters it, when you can finally see the person for who they really are , it's heartbreaking. Trust them, but don't sacrifice yourself for something that's not worth it. Don't ignore the warning signs. Listen to your head, your heart is biased.
Whenever you fight with your boyfriend( even though it is is fault), do not go to other guys. It will make him feel worthless and he might be fed up if it continues.
I have learned how to detect toxic people and how to avoid them
I learned that you need to keep on understanding each other even though one is really difficult to handle what matters is,he's always there for you and you have someone to lean on and also trust and being honest is the key to have a better relationship.
@ASilentObserver That its okay to worry about yourself, if its a healthy relationship you shouldnt have to worry about if the other person is hurting you emotionally or being toxic.
I love this
