Signs of a Healthy Relationship
I've started this topic for a therapist who was having trouble posting to the general forums. I can edit it as needed for them.
Coming together at the end of the day and having that loving caring moment with each other. Whether it's at dinner or right before bed.
Accepting each other's difference. Aiming for common goals. Helping each other through tough times. fixing mistakes previously made,
Offering help to family and if they dont want it. Being okay with that. Not calling them ungrateful or getting upset.
To me a sign of a healthy relationship is when I can be myself in someone 's present. I don't have to be fake or pretend to like something, just to get the other person 'a approval.
Feeling like you are enough, safe and appreciated
Working together on common goals. Bringing each other up instead of constantly tearing them down. Communication
mutual trust, good listening skill, similar mindset
I think it's when he/she shows supports you for you and what you do as long as it isn't stupid. I opened up to him for being pan and he supports me. There has been times where I wanted to cut and he's talked me out of it. It shows that he cares. They should be supportive and care for you.
Showing the other person you care about him or her in kind/thoughtful ways
True honesty and trust. When both partners feel good in each other's presence. When you fall in love with someone who you would normally never consider because they are completely different from what you ever imaged your future partner to be. It means you truly love that person and not just his or her looks. Getting both is a bonus of course 😄
@QuietCoconut. You are right. I broke the trust and honesty with my girlfriend. She has stuck be me the last week but seems like my time is limited. I deserve what I get but it breaks my heart to understand reality.
I do wish I could go back in time
