One thing I value in a relationship is consideration.
I haven't experienced mutual consideration before. until I ended up in my current relationship. In the past, it was one sided and I was always considerate of my exes, but they never were to me... they used me for my money, for the things I had, and for what I could do for them. They didn't care much for my well-being. They did that to other people too, and were users....Those were unhealthy relationships...
However, it's different with my current partner.
My partner is the most considerate person I've ever met and always thinks things through in contrast. Very warm-hearted, generous, and supportive too. He cares about other people's feelings and tries to make sure everyone is doing OK and offers help whenever he can. He has a heart of gold. 💛
Openness, without a doubt. In the past, I've experienced bottling things and not knowing what's going on with the other person. In my current relationships, my partner and I are open about our problems and the feelings we have, and we've found a respect towards each other through that I've never experienced before.
@OneErased I love that! Openess is a great thing to have in a relationship. I had exes who would hide certain things from me that were dealbreakers, and it made things more complicated... I would be less upset if they would talk to me. I guess they knew I would leave, but I would have less hard feelings that way and would (maybe) still be friends.
Right now, I'm in a relationship where I feel I can be open with my partner. It feels nice. So I agree, it's really nice not having to bottle in all those feelings and having someone to talk to. ✨
Sex I never got it in my last one even though we slept together three times. It was love four love. I miss her even though she unadded me and nastily texted me
Communication - it's the foundation of a healthy relationship.

One thing I value in a relationship is?… HONESTY!!
(That is the basis for me, as you can’t have any true or real relationship without it) No matter what the dynamics are of the relationship.
the things I value in a relashinship is respect, not just respect but also love languages I love them and I want them to be okay with it and I need to be okay with it too, most important is loving unconditionally not cheating. communication I need to work on because it is mandatory

Honesty blended with the right amounts of kindness, love and humour makes a recipe for success in my mind.
