Help needed.

I would like to connect with a listener, preferably a woman, with who I could share my healing and recovery journey from severely abusive relationship I escaped from almost a year ago.
Learning to trust is still a challenge and focusing on 1on1 interactions is only way I'm able to let someone in at the moment. Today this realization washed over me that I've been trying to stomach it all mostly in silence by myself and it's impeding the recovery and impacting my well being a lot. If there's anyone who could and would want to do this, please do let me to know in this thread. Thank you a lot in advance!

I’m not yet a listener, but find in a similar position myself just recently and struggling to process what happened. It would be good to have someone to talk to also. Can we chat without one of us being a listener? I’m new today so have no idea how this all works as yet.
@Dopey1905 To chat 1-to-1, at least one of you must be a listener, and you must usually be in the same age group (adult/teen). You can use the link @empatheticLavender2924 posted, and choose a listener who has a Chat Now button from the Browse Listeners page. You can also filter that list for gender, etc.
Another way is to press the Connect or Connect Now button in various places to get a random (effectively) listener, but filtered only by age group and language.
