This is my first post to this community. I am a devout Catholic and my faith helps me get through the hardest things, just like the things someone might come to 7cups about. Sunday is a special day of the week for Christians, so I'm glad I found this community today!

I totally agree with you. It helps me with daily situations as well as confession also helps me to be more aware of things I do daily that may not be positive and helps me to stay on an even keel with God and with myself. Prayer, attending mass, reciting the rosary and confession are all things God has given us to help us.
Even though my mom has been through a lot in her life her devotion to God has never wavered. She says 10 rosaries a day. When my grandma, her mother, died the priest declared my grandma an unrecognized Saint. This means she will never have a holy day on the calendar but she is sitting with the Saints and can help all those who ask her intervention. I feel honored to have known and be related to such devote women.
