@soulsings I'm grateful for the law enforcement and health workers, they are real earth angels sent from God. Who saved my life, and continue to keep me safe.  And I'm grateful to all the people here at cups, who helped me learn about the world and myself, and helped me to find my voice. The kindness of others have given me strength and faith to keep going, to keep learning. In return I want to help as many people as possible, to help give them the strength and faith to keep going to. God has blessed me with a second chance at life, I'm forever thankful ❤

@soulsings

I'm grateful for the support I receive here in many ways and to meet people who are genuinely interested in the well-being of others. Working here as volunteer strengthens my belief that when we help each other we can change the world to the better to some extend. = Hope

In the past, when I was really open in learning about Christianity, what got me into it was actually knowing celebrities that I admire, who are devoted to their faith. I was fantasizing that if I end up a Christian and I visit their country, that maybe I could be attending the same church as them. But I noticed that type of imagination is not enough for me to keep going.

I'm actually unsure now, whether or not I will continue with attending church or not for my future. I tried attending different churches over the past 5 years, and eventually stopped during Covid, because I did not feel welcomed as a new member. I was able to spend time outside of church with Pastors, but none of whom actually talked me into continuing with the exploration. Sometimes, I wish that of all the churches I've been to, that those Pastors would give me more guidance. Come to think of it, it'd be nice to be able to meet my parents in Heaven when the time comes.

In addition, I still felt grateful that those Pastors took their free time to meet with me outside of church, over coffee.

@Jaeteuk finding where we feel our spirituality can take root is a long process of trying things. All the best on your journey.

Thank you. I'm not sure if I'll ever come around to going back to church.. but I do have that thought in the back of mind.. especially when I think about my parents and the changes my mum went through.

@Jaeteuk I am with you: Jesus is great, churches are often bad, so I do not go to church. I honor His Sabbath; I rest that day doing only what is absolutely necessary, and play praise and worship music.

@soulsings Honestly forgiving those who harm me and turning my attention to those I can help is a BIG component in my happiness and sanity.

We cannot choose our life, only how we feel and think about that. And it is how we feel and think, that is where actions come from and actions change the world.

@RogueOne1983 I agree with the importance of recognizing that our pure nature is the same. The difficult part is people's minds get clouded with anger, jealousy, pride and other destructive emotions. What they do in those states I do not condone but I try as best I can not to judge them by their actions but recognize they have good qualities too. It is not easy.

@soulsings yes and that is a good attitude for most people.

Then there are people, they are bad and evil and they destroy deliberately as it gives them pleasure to do so. And these we must oppose.

@Tinywhisper11 I have an open mind, but I do not condone the actions of people who harm others.  That is a difficult one.

@soulsings yeah it is a difficult one. Cause we never know what a person has really been through or what is going on in their minds. So I think everyone deserves love and understanding. After all an eye for a eye, makes the whole world go blind ❤❤

@Tinywhisper11 that is who I am talking about. Those who hurt others for their own enjoyment.
