I haven’t fully abandoned prayer but I’ve missed it… and honestly, that feeling is heavy to even describe . It’s like once u miss a few your mind tricks u into thinking everything is missable now. But it’s not. It never is.

It’s not that you’re lost, you just stumbled for a while, and that’s okay we are all human .. the Prophet PBUH said “Every son of Adam sins, and the best of those who sin are those who repent.”

And Allah literally reassures us in the Quran “Say, O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins…”

Your heart still worries and wants peace…Please pray. You can always start again even with 2 rak’ah nafl that’s how it all begins🤍

My friend,

I’m really happy you want to come back to prayer. That feeling itself is a gift—never underestimate it.

What you’re experiencing is something many people go through: after hardship, the heart becomes tired, and the will becomes weak. This doesn’t mean you’ve lost your faith—it just means you need to rebuild gently.

Instead of thinking “I will never skip again,” try to look at it differently.

As Said Nursî beautifully reminds us:

Yesterday is gone from your hands. Tomorrow is not guaranteed to you. So your real life is today. At least spend one hour of your day as a small investment for your eternal future—by turning to prayer.

And he also says:

Just one hour is enough for the five daily prayers. If someone spends 23 hours on this short worldly life but not even one hour on their eternal life, how much they lose, how unfair they are to themselves, and how unreasonable that is.

So don’t think about forever.
Don’t think about perfection.

Just think about today.

Even one sincere prayer today is a beginning.
And tomorrow, you build on it.

Because Allah says:
“Seek help through patience and prayer.” (Qur’an 2:153)

We don’t pray because we are strong…
we pray to become strong.

And even if you fall again, don’t let despair take over.

As Said Nursî says:
“Despair is the greatest illness.”

So don’t say “I failed.”
Say: “I begin again.”

That is the whole path.

thank you , u truly inspired me to start again today even if I might go back to the same ways , nothing makes me happier than when I’m with god alone

I’ll try again today , but I’m also worried about my siblings , they never pray and when I do they take it as an attack on character, my house is small and I can’t have privacy anymore, we all have a bad impression of islaam as it had been forced on us when we wer young

i am not a muslim but i know so much about islam.

and i don't think turning back to god will cause anything bad happen.

if you feel like you have done sins. you can be sorry to god and ask for forgiveness. you can always go back to prayers. do prayers, thinking you are talking to god. you are meeting to your creator. not that you have to be consistant somewhere. and may be this will just help to not skip prayers.

and if i am not wrong there is a verse in quran too that says "indeed , he is the one who forgives"

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabrakaatahu Tangerine… I’m really glad you shared this ❤️!

Coming back after a long time can feel scary, especially when you’re carrying guilt. But feeling this way doesn’t mean you’re far away (it's is shaitan influence for u to misguide ) it actually means your heart still cares, and that’s something beautiful 😊

Allah says in the Qur’an:

"Say, O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful"  (39:53)

You’re not disqualified because you stopped. You’re being invited back :) that means allah wants you with him 😊

Don’t pressure yourself to be perfect or to never fall again. Just start small, one prayer, one moment of sincerity 😊. Even if you struggle later, you can always return again. What matters is that you keep turning back.

You’re not alone in this… and you’re not beyond mercy 💗.

We got this together ❤️

Prayer does not matter much a sufi many call a saint said change one negative thing is worth a thousand prayers.

The Quran mentions three classifications which are more like four.

Crimes these are worst these are also sins against others and self and haram. People must work to punish.

Sins against others these are sins against you as well and haram. Victims should have harm reduced.

Sins against your self are also haram. You should pray for help loving yourself.

Then there is just haram. Your told not to do it no consequence if you do it but it is typically bad idea so your told not to do it.

The actions I mentioned at each level should be taken and actions for lower levels.

Careful reading of passages regarding prayer says not doing it leads typically to sins or not working in virtuous ways. Not doing its self is only haram. This is based on the Qurans internal logic and contradicts many scholars.

If I am right and you have not sinned or neglected doing good things it dies not matter you have not prayed. But you are told to as it often results in these.

If I am wrong you should pray to Allah for desire to pray.

Allah forces no dîn you can behave as you wish in bounds of law. If you sin against others in manners that are not regulated by law others can take actions the law does not ban.

Not praying is less important than the spiritual harm caused by deliberately thinking some harmful of others.

Please relax.
