Disappearing Thread

Earlier roday, I responded to a thread, and received alerts that there were responses and updates to it, but clicking on the alerts does not find the thread-- it only brings nme back to the Community page. I can not locate it in the Forum in which it was posted either. Any help?
The title of the thread is "Father and Husband Concerned for Family." I am 99% certain it was posted in the BD forum.

Thanks, everyone!

Yeah that happens quite often, idk sometimes they move threads or just delete them altogether.

Looks like someone has deleted it without giving a reason or taking responsibility. I notice @Belis had also replied, with sensible observations (as usual wink ). but I didn't see what happened after that.

@RarelyCharlie Hopefully it was just the original poster who wanted it deleted.

The original poster also posted in their feed, and that has not been deleted. Also, it's not clear to me what makes it OK to delete well-intentioned replies just because the original poster changes their mind. I'm not sure whether to tag the original poster, who seems to be online right now. Perhaps they will discover this thread anyway and enlighten us.

I imagine that the OP might have grown concerned that it may somehow be discovered by his wife and make things worse.

If so I understand why they would want the whole thread to be deleted for the piece of mind, even if it is unlikely that it would have been found. It gave a lot of details about the situation so could have identify him.
