Hello, I'm Adam, a new designer at 7 Cups!
Hi everyone, I'm Adam and I'm a new designer at 7 Cups. I'll be responsible for improving existing designs (like how to find your way around the site/app, designing a more consistent color scheme, or making the app look & feel friendly) and creating future 7 Cups experiences for all of you.
I'm looking forward to listening to all of your feedback on what you like and dislike about our website and app. This will help us greatly improve the experience at 7 Cups. If you're interested in participating, I'll also be sending out surveys periodically to get feedback on new ideas and new designs we're exploring. Most importantly I want to make sure that everything we design helps you to find the support you need and give back to the community. I hope to talk to you all soon!

I am interested in participating.
I'm sure I will not be the only one to warn you that others have tried, and failed, to improve the user experience at 7 Cups. Really simple things like a direct link to these forums from a user's main page (the "Growth Path" page) are talked about year after year but never happen. The key skills you'll require have little to do with colour schemes and much to do with whatever voodoo politics-fu gets anything you actually design to actually change.
But since you mention colour schemes, a good test (which everyone has failed on so far) will be to see if you can change the red-orange-green blobs used for listeners' status indicators on the website to something that colour-blind people can use. (My solution is somewhere in the forums, but I can't find it because neither the internal search nor Google search works for me any more.)
I would find the app more friendly if it would let me log in. As I can no longer log in, I can no longer use it.
There is a lot of fun to be had fixing all this stuff. I look forward to working with you!

@Erato Ha! While I'm strongly against it, everyone can do what they want and I respect them for it :) I'm an east coaster and just plain old thin crust, by the slice is where I'm happiest.
