Join me in the Pay it Forward movement!!
I want to share an anecdote with you all. A month ago, I was at a window store, trying to buy some windows. I didn't have much information about windows at that time and was feeling very puzzled and directionless. The staff wasn't very helpful either. Another customer before me in the queue started talking with me. He not only educated me about windows, but also gave me the contact of two more stores that were cheaper and more reliable.
I was at the store last night finally ordering windows for my house. I have been researching windows for the past month and have a fair amount of idea about them now. Another customer walked in and started asking some questions from the staff. The staff wasnt very helpful but I answered all of them and spent 15mins with her. She was super thankful.
Later at night, I started thinking how well this relates to 7 Cups. I will probably never meet the kind man again but I was able to pass on the help to another person later. The magic of 7 Cups lies in the Pay it Forward principle. We come here in distress, get help from a listener and become a listener ourselves to help others.
Life works on the 'pay it forward' principle. If you can't repay someone for their help, don't feel burdened. You can always help others. It will come around to you again. This is an appeal to all members and guests -
1- If you feel well enough to contribute to bringing some sunshine in others' lives, don't hesitate to join the community as a listener. You can listen whenever you like. It is very rewarding to receive good ratings, great reviews, and genuine blessings from those you help.
2- If you need more time to get well, we are here for you, to listen to you, and to support you. Still want to pay it forward, tell others about 7 Cups. They might be struggling secretly and may need a kind, listening ear.
Everyone is welcome on 7 Cups. Join me in the Pay it Forward movement,

@Twish I love this! 7Cups is built on compassion, on helping others and above all, caring for the people around you. What you said reminded me of this amazing video! Thanks for sharing this beautiful post ❤
@Twish Thank you for this insightful post. Its things like this that make 7cups so lovely, what we are built on as Zara said!
Thank you for this Twish.. We all need to realize that by giving we can be really complete.. :-)
I love this!
I always like to Pay It Forward.I feel this helps not only others,but also ourselves.Helping someone always brings me joy.❤
@Twish
Thanks for sharing this. It is so true. Today I was reading about an organization that helps people who have pets, just lost their job/flat/are depressed or going through personal challenges. I thought what a good way to pay it forward. If I had lost my dog when I was depressed or unemployed, I don't know what I would do. I am hoping that more organizations spring up to help people until they get back on their feet by fostering their pets temporarily. I wonder how many people on 7 Cups might be able to either help or benefit from such an idea.
This is why I joined and became a listener x
@Sollas Me too! :)
