Sunday 3-12 Time in US, Canada and 7 Cups moves ahead one hour
A brief reminder about the time change in US from EST to EDT Daylight Saving Time (EDT time) It happens on:
- Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 2:00 A.M. At that time, the clocks in the US and Canada will be set one hour forward from 2:00 A.M. EST to 3:00 A.M. EDT.
- Note all times in 7 Cups are based on EST or EDT time unless otherwise noted. This means any activity that you attend may be at a different time if you do not also move the clocks forward Sunday.
Your PMs show in your time zone that you declare in your profile. Time converter https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/
Another way to find current time is to Google EDT time and see the difference from your time.
Thanks for sharing this! I'm still not used to daylight saving time starting this early in the year it used to happen in the spring. I haven't come across any reminders yet either! The extra days notice helps!
@soulsings
Thanks for the update, Soul! Also was this supposed to be the clickable post for the recent alert notification too? It currently takes one to a "not found" post upon clicking! 😮
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou sorry I fixed the link on the alert.
@soulsings No worries, and thankyou!
@soulsings
So this may be dumb, but I have never understood time zones (I understand the purpose, just not what is where, etc). I live on the east coast of the United States and my phone automatically changed the u for me (it's the only thing I use for 7 Cups), but I noticed that my time line thing on my path page, where u can post whatever changes to midnight almost an hour early every night now. It's weird but not too much of an issue, I just thought I'd let u know in case something is causing it (some technical issues or other technical problems I don't know literally anything about).
@K87 you could check the settings and see if in the right time zone there.
@soulsings
It's correct, that's the weird part. It's not a big deal, I just thought perhaps it was a bug or something and thought reporting it was a good idea in case I was right
