Help us name our care model!
What we are doing here on 7 Cups is really unique. Trained voluteers + technology + professionals work together to extend healthcare access. Some folks call this task shifting or task sharing. We are not huge fans of those terms, b/c we don't really feel like they capture what we do. When I think of our model I think of renewable energy - it is limitless, it is free, and we are getting better at figuring out how to channel it to help more people. We need a really good name for our model. One that will really stick and highlight the work we are doing, but also provide a framework so that other groups can provide similar care under the same title.
Here are some terms we've been thinking about. The term should sound good with both care or healthcare at the end. For example: renewable care or renewable healthcare, compassion now care, together care or together healthcare, free care, open care or open healthcare, openhanded healthcare, 7 cups care or 7 cups healthcare, horizon healthcare, lean on me care (like the song..what i've been singing all weekend as i think about us), lean on me healthcare, mutual care and connected care or connected healthcare.
The 3 key parts are:
Free - We are volunteers who provide compassionate care to to reduce suffering.
Collaborative - We work together and with professionals to provide the best care that we can given limited financial resources.
Iterative - Our care keeps getting better and better because we keep learning through training and technology experiments.

Utility healthcare systems? Utility covers the useful, profitable, beneficial and as described by Bentham utility is the aggregate pleasure after deducting suffering of all involved in any action. @GlenM

Words are difficult - pictures say more - 7cups is also more than just peer support 1-1 listening. A hybrid.
I like cup care..
I also liked ones that mention the community, but in my country it could get confused with Community Health Organizations which I understand have been rebranded as RHA's or Regional Health Authorities, but over half the time I forget that and still refer to them with the prior name.
I think we need to leave healthcare words and phrases out of it. We do address disabilities and diagnosis so it's not entirely untrue that we don't deal with any health issuees. However. I went to school for web design/interactive media. I had a class for two months on slogans, making a mascot, basically making a brand and a logo. So I will try to draw from that...
Cup Half Full or 7 Cups Cafe or Always filling your cup half full or Drinking in life
I'm not sure if we are looking for a logo or a saying or even a new name but these are what came to mind as of now.

It seems like people are coming up with names as if we are loosing or replacing the name "7cups" or "7cups of tea" This is more about what we are looking to call the care model used on 7cups correct? So basically, for instance, we may then be able to say "On 7Cups of Tea we use a unique model of providing emotional support we refer to as "weCare" (to use Krinks last suggested update as example).
So in that it is naming the model used on 7cups of tea.
please correct me if im wrong.
@beYOUtywithin I think you are correct which is why I am thinking of something like 7 Cups of Tea - Drink in life. Or - Healing (there could be so many words that go there) one sip at a time. Or- Helping sip by sip
