Well, this may sound nonsensical to some, but I am an entrepreneur and working most of the time of the day.

Problem is that I have MASSIVE sexual energy building up in me. I am single and I don't really get a chance to...uh, you know.

What do I do???

Is there anyway to find relief by yourself? I know you don't feel like you have time. But could you plan in a little time for yourself every week. An hour maybe?

might be a possible trigger warning (just to be safe)

does anybody else here have an overwhelming fear of being sexually involved with a partner? I feel like whenever I'm with someone who I consider to be a person I'm sexually attracted to I get tense and nervous and I feel like I can't breathe properly. despite attempts, I've never been able to orgasm with a partner. I've always made them stop before it gets to that point. I deny myself the ability to let go. I'm afraid, but I'm not sure what I'm afraid of.

If it helps you understand, I was assaulted when i was 13,

@dynamicNest7316 I'm sorry that you had that experience, but thank you for sharing it with us. That could possibly be the source of all the problems you described. It sounds like you need to confront some feelings in order to let them go and forgive yourself, so that you can then love yourself. It's not as easy as that though of course. It doesn't hurt to have support along the way! Sometimes guidance is needed too from someone who can help you access those feelings in a safe way and to help you change negative thinking patterns.

@Reeses61991 You've got this! Remember, you are in control! You just have to get inside that head and confront that demon and allow yourself to fully process. Then that demon will go to he11 and you can let go.

@LennyS Masturbation is a very normal thing to do. I can't say for certain, but I'm sure everyone does it or has done it at some point. There is nothing to be ashamed of and masturbation can help you discover what you like and dislike in terms of sexual interaction.

@LennyS I understand your point of view, because I felt the same way last year. I felt bad because of my growth in a puritanical family... It was good, but after that I felt like I did something bad. It is something similar to you?
Well dear, I agree with Jay... It's something everyone does, even if they won't tell you, and I think it's a good way to better understand your body and taking care of it. It is healthy too. You're not "bad" for doing it!

@LennyS Hi Lenny! I felt about the same way about a year back, so I think I know roughly how you feel, and I hope my advice helps!

I think there were really two parts to it for me. One of them is addiction, much like being addicted to a video game, so perhaps you could try using addiction methods to solve it. For me, I managed to find another interest and what I think was the most effective was really to try to stop one day at a time. Like, if you feel the urge to do it thrice a day, you could try to lessen it to twice a day and slowly decrease. The important thing is not to tell yourself that you will do it the next day, and really try to whenever you can. When I first started trying to stop, I would eat ice cream or do homework or an interesting puzzle whenever I felt the urge, like a distraction. Something regular would be better, like doing a puzzle every time.

The other was really the novelty of it and the sort of excitement of having to hide from my parents as they are really conservative. This may sound contradictory, but I managed to solve that by becoming more familiar with it, understanding the urges and all that more. How I did it was I read up about the anatomy and physiology behind it, but that's because I like biology. You can learn about the major social issues related to it as well as other perspectives too. It's like embracing masturbation and porn, without doing it or watching it.

This post is really getting long, so I'll just end off with a good luck! :)

^ Is right. (For some reason cannot see a name written, so I apologize if I cannot tag you properly.)

Not to be taken the wrong way, but if it's something you consider you are "fighting against"

then: know your enemy gives you good chances in fighting and defeating them.

Knowledge over the matter at hand will give you the power to do so.

@hopefulDreamer50

you should encourage them to partake in professional therapy. sexual assault is serious enough where its best they find a licensed professional and face to face therapy. the best we can do is convince them to go.

I am an escort and have a husband/so who knows what i do but our sex life is nowhere near normal. Not sure how to get him into it or if he is even attracted to me sexually. I am always so tired especially when i do this as a so called job. I personally can care less about sex although it would be nice to have a sexual relationship with the person i call my so/soon to be husband.
