*waves* at teens

Hi, as a teenager, I think that the entire concept of 7 Cups is outstanding and I am very happy to be a member of this community. There have been times when I have needed somebody to speak to in a time of crisis, and my hard times lead me here. Now, I log on to this more than I do my social media accounts! Being a listener has given me drive to help people without having to pay uni fees to train to become a counsellor, I can log onto here anytime of day or night and listen to people's troubles, and hopefully have a positive impact on them. Ultimately, this site was here for me when I felt like I had nobody, and it gives me great pleasure to to honour the site by helping other's in their time of need. <3

It's sad how few teen support there is but with seven cups my life took a turn to the good! Whether a member or a listener or even a guest we have each other's backs on here and that's enough to keep me going. When I first joined seven cups I was a depressed girl who wanted to hurt herself but now I've grown not only as a listener but as a person! Before I thought my life surrounded around my writing but now I spend my free time helping people all over the world. I couldn't ask for a better feeling than knowing I helped someone

I've found an unbelievable amount of support and kindness here. This diverse community is unlike any other and really strives to promote positivity and care for anyone in need of it. Soon, I will have been here for a full year, and the time has passed incredibly quickly. I love being a part of 7 Cups, and I especially appreciate the loving nature of everyone here if I'm having a bad day. Thank you for all that you've done!

Firstly, I want to thank you for this very thoughtful post of yours! It was very kind of you! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Dancernhealer, a listener here on 7 Cups Of Tea!

I want to share with you a little something and although this reply will never reveal my true feelings, it is a start.

When I was in need of support, I too did some research like you, for some kind of Emotional Support for Teens. And I too was surprised to find that there was no one out there who offered free emotional support to teens across the countries.

This broke my heart, when I needed support the most, but let me tell you..I did not stop my research. I continued to look for some kind of emotional support for teens and I cannot tell you how glad I am that I decided to keep going.

The moment that I clicked on that link that said 7 Cups Of Tea, my life changed forver. This beautiful community filled with people who were there for me and who were ready to listen to me and my struggles truly amazed me. To know that people were there for me, and that people cared about what I was going through changed my perceptions on many things.

I cannot begin to tell you how much of a difference 7 Cups has made for me in my life. Just like how Luna mentionned above, I spend more time on 7 Cups then I do on my social media accounts! Looking at other people's pictures on Intsagram and tweeting messages to others seems trivial to me when I could be spending my time helping others who are struggling. If I can help one person, and make a difference in one person's life, then my goal is complete. My mission is accomplished.

I want you to know how grateful I am that I can now have a chance to give back to this community by listening to others and helping them loosen the load by simply being there for them.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much this supportive community filled with love, compassion and teamwork makes me happy.

Everyday, when I log onto 7 Cups, I think about when I used to be a memebr and when I used to come here for support. And I still remember, to this day, the names of the listeners who made a difference in my life. The ones who changed my way of seeing things and showed me them in a new light.

I am so eternally grateful to be given the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful community that you have founded. So on that note, I would like to thank you, Glen, for founding 7 Cups of Tea, for creating an emotional support ressource for teens, and for persevering everyday to make this community possible. I will never be able to express in words, how appreciative I am towards you.

I'm so glad 7cups is what it is. Finding peace and joy is just what I needed being a teen. I'm thankful for all the listeners and knowing that I'm not the only one going through troubles. :)

*waves*I am really thankful for 7 cups . I have always wanted to give service to people And help people . But , it just was not easy to go out there when you have School and other stuffs . After getting 7 cups , I can help people easily from the comfort of my home .

It's like a dream come true . And , 7 Cups really changed my life

As someone who's been on 7 cups, I have to say that this site really doe work. More often than not, I like the feeling of helping someone out even if it's just because they need someone to talk to. I feel llike this site has given me a positive outlook on life and has help me become, what this site should be, a better listener. I strongly encourage your daughters to become listeners, of course only if they want to :)

I cant comment on the teen-listener experience because Im not a teen. I can, however, comment on the adult teen-listener experience, because I am one.

When I first became a listener on 7 cups, I listened to adults exclusively, not because I necessarily wanted to, but because I was limited to only working with adults. Eventually, when I met the criteria to become an adult teen-listener, I applied to become one, and since that time I have been listening to teens almost exclusively.

Its difficult being a teen, perhaps even more so than a few decades ago when I was one. I love having the opportunity to provide the help so many teens need, the kind of help that wasnt available to me when I was their age. Having no children or grandchildren of my own, 7 Cups provides me with the ability to share my knowledge and life experiences with youngsters who can benefit from them. Thank you, Glen, for providing me, and other adults like me, with this wonderful opportunity!

Thank you so much for making this website! I found 7 Cups when I desperately needed some support. I remember clicking on this website link without any hope to achieve anything worthwhile from it. My God was I wrong. 7 Cups is a unique community full of such care and commitment to supporting each other, especially teens. This may be the only website that I feel is really making a difference. I'm literally so proud to be a part of this as a listener. <3
