Happy Eid Al Adha
Eid lasts for 3 days but is usually the most celebrated on the first. You can read more about the significance of this Eid here. I am making this post to wish all of our Muslim community a very happy Eid.
Typically when celebrating Eid, Muslims will dress up in new/their finest clothes and prepare a wide range of dishes to eat on the Eid day. Some may also apply Henna on their hands. Usually they will meet friends and family on Eid day. It can be hard to enjoy celebrations due to the pandemic but know that we are here for you! You can share your happiness and wishes with each other on this post!
Even if you are not a Muslim, feel free to wish the Muslim members of our community ‘Eid Mubarak’ or a ‘Happy Eid’.

Thank you for the post. But I think today 19 July 2021 is the Day of Hajj, and tomorrow 20 July 2021 it would be Eid-ul-Adha in Saudi Arabia and other following countries.
Whereas, Eid-ul-Adha would be celebrated in Pakistan on 21st July 2021.
May ALLAH bless each of living being in this universe on this Sacred day, with peace and tranquility to live in harmony with others with patience and understanding. Ameen.
Eid mubarak to eveyone
I m not a Muslim...but can anyone tell me why do we celebrate eid. I mean is there any story behind it?
The Holy book of the Muslims Quran narrates the story of Prophet Ibrahim which is the reason for Eid al-adha celebrations. It is said that Allah asked Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son to prove his devotion to the lord. When the prophet was prepared to sacrifice Ismail, his son was replaced by a lamb by the angel Jibra’il. Similar versions of this story are also in other Holy books including Torah and The Old Testament. 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙨 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙞𝙙 𝙖𝙡-𝘼𝙙𝙝𝙖 𝙗𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙩𝙨.
