And now let's edit the table and add colours.
Edits above were done in Chromium.
This line added in Firefox.
This line added in Google Chrome.
This line added in Safari on iOS.
This is meant to be a yellow highlighter.
[edited to try the red button a different way]
@RarelyCharlie. let me know if you want to know what it looks like on a phone the app and on the website (safari browser) unfortunately this iPhone is what Im down to atm because my laptop charger broke but I can check it on app and website just let me know if youd like me to see if what is meant actually is on a phone
OK. Thank you
@jennysunrise8
@RarelyCharlie just ping me if you want to know what something looks like or if I can see it or not 👀
I think the thing that's most inconsistent between browsers is how they treat the fonts. Here's cursive:
Few black taxis drive up major roads on quiet hazy nights.
And here's novelty:
Crazy Frederick bought many very exquisite opal jewels.
@jennysunrise8
@RarelyCharlie oh wow its a huge difference how cursive and novelty look in safari they both look so much better thats too bad every browser shows fonts different Im trying to put Tampermonkey extension on this safari but I havent figured out where to get extensions for safari yet still looking
Just a note from years of experience in IT and a few sites made over the years. Bluefish is a great program for testing different viewing experiences. Not quite recently updated (April 2017 for the last release) but it's still available for multiple platforms as FOSS. Doesn't really replace sandboxing or VM but does allow for a quick crosscheck on progress.
The thing we're testing was created with the help of Bluefish, but Bluefish is not for testing different viewing experiences—it's just an editor.
I like Bluefish a lot, although it has an annoying highlighting bug, it chokes on very long lines, and I was disappointed when markdown support was removed.

@RarelyCharlie
The version I have on my NAS allows me to switch between windows/IE, mac/safari, and linux/firefox views to confirm that the default programs will work.
The highlights and colors for sections of code are the best part about it. But then I started my coding with HTML in notepad, just like batch files for dos.
So...theoretically, this should have a smiley
where I typed : followed by D.
And it should have a signature at the bottom.
Charlie
I just uploaded version 0.8, which :
- Fixes (I hope) the bug that sometimes made the toolbar show up in the wrong place.
- Automatically converts some common text smileys, so you can type :D and get

- Optionally puts a plain text signature at the bottom of every post. (Set it on your My Settings page.)
- Adds two smileys: Cookie, and Bowl with spoon.
As always, go back to 7 Cups - Forum inline editor to upgrade if it doesn't do it automatically.
For the list of text smileys common to chats and posts, see the Emoji section in the How to.

yay updating now im on my desktop downloaded tapermonkey on here a while ago :D
@RarelyCharlie
but i didnt see anything in my settings where i could add a signature
@RarelyCharlie
It's in the Public Profile section, bottom right, just above your bio ("About You").
On reflection it would be better just underneath Screen Name.

Awesome thanks
Testing new url code.

Now I'm hoping URLs will become links.
This should be a link: https://www.7cups.com/@RarelyCharlie and also community@7cups.com. But it shouldn't include the full stop.
And nami.org should be left alone (because there's no https:// in front of it).

Charlie
Oops! More work needed...

Maybe this time URLs will become links?

Just checking that what follows is invisible...
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
Charlie
And this should be invisible too...
Reveal
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

Ignore me, I'm just wondering about something.
Charlie
Now I'm wondering about something else. Now I'm wondering about something else. Now I'm wondering about something else. Now I'm wondering about something else. Now I'm wondering about something else. Now I'm wondering about something else. Now I'm wondering about something else.
Charlie
Now I'm wondering what gets censored in the forum. Here's an example that appears to be censored in chats. Can I post it here?
I don't think I'll be at school until September because of the coronavirus.
Charlie
I wonder whether I can post a star…
