Hi team,
We know that there has been a surge in forum spam. We are very sorry about that! About 2 weeks ago, we launched the ability verify your email as a member. We are now working on the next phase of this update, which would be to make it compulsary to to verify your email prior to posting on the forums for the first time. Our hope is that this will help reduce spam.
The date of this update is still TBA. But it is in development and we are working building this functionality as we speak. I wanted to give you this update to let you know, we hear you and we are actively working to get a solution in place.

have y'all forum mentors been cleaning up the spam or does it not exist anymore? :D :D :D :D
coz i checked a few times and yeah i found some but
considering the nightmare it was :x'

@bunnypants - There's still spam, but based on my estimates from what I'm seeing deleted, we have gotten rid of about 50% through this, so it's a start! We'll keep looking for additional solution to layer on to try to minimize this (I'm not sure 0 spam is ever possible, but if we could make it rare and not clog up the forums so much, that would be a beautiful thing!)
