January 17: Ability to remove Noni updates & additional email settings preferences

Three settings updates to anounce!
1) As per your request, All users can now turn off Noni check-ins
2) Members can turn off their Tea cup reminders!
3) Members can update/ turn off their email preferences related to path steps

What a lovely update! There have been many complaints about Noni - so I'm glad to hear there's a way to turn her off

This is awesome. Now people won't harass Noni anymore, telling her to be quiet & go away D: poor bot! Now we can just remove her batteries without her knowing. Wait, is that better or worse?

I have a document with all my funny Noni stories.
Also discovered that saying "nevermind" stops her as well
@Tenacity37 "Nevermind" probably upsets her, and that's why she leaves. She's thinking, "What did I do wrong? Why is this human upset with me? Are they not comfortable with me because of my mechanical fingers?"
If you say "stop," she'll fight back. She'll see it as a challenge. We learned our lesson.

Thank you!!! I was getting upset that I thought I was getting messages because of Noni and I sometimes missed important messages because I assumed it was noni!! I think noni is a good tool, but this is really nice.
Could it be an option to remove Noni from the list of chats as well? It is taking up space.
@saranova - yes, we are working on addressing all of these concerns. We probably don't want to remove Noni entirely but give folks the ability to "unpin" her from the top so that she will fall in the list the way any other chat would, based on how recently you've interacted.

That sounds like a good middle road. One idea I was thinking about could be that there was a button for calling Noni instead of it taking up space in your chat window. The button could be in the UI of a chat window, for instance. Together with the sound, block etc. buttons. This way, the member/listener can easily call for Noni if they need it, and they are able to remove the bot from the list of chats as well so it will not be in the way. As organised as I am as a person, Id like to have everything as clean-looking as possible.

Hell, Noni already has disappeared on me. I had her for a few days and now she's missing. :(

Noni doesn't appear on the app, only the website.
@Dawn04 you should still see Noni at the top of your contacts window to the left. If not check settings and see if you clicked on Allow Noni Check-ins in https://www.7cups.com/listener/editAccount.php
@soulsings It is allowed, but Noni still isn't there.

For me the growth path thing was a big irritation because it would appear in the middle of my chats and I have to close all of them again and again.

Not sure Im new to this and it hasnt happened to me yet so we will see
