May 11: Tracking Down a Pesky Bug!
Hello Everyone,
For the last 14 days, we've been trying to track down a site bug. We have been unsuccessful in isolating it thus far and it has been causing problems on our back end. We first noticed this bug 2 weeks ago. In order to continue to hunt down this bug, we need to revert the site back to what it looked like 14 days ago. This means, you will see temporary changes on the site. Everything will get added back as soon as possible.
Items you may see change during time:
-----> Therapist directory & community removed
-----> Teen Mentor Page removed
-----> SEO Photo Updates removed
This will NOT interfere with your ability to chat, talk to members, pick up generals, participate in the group rooms or use the forums. We will restore the site to its most up to date functionality as soon as we are able!

Computer bugs have existed from the beginning of computer time. Last week, huge corporation Wal-Mart went down for an hour across the US nation because of of bug. Imagine the unhappy people there who couldn't check out!!! This site has grown to accomodate so many people who like our anonymity and now therapists for people who are uncomfortable with face to face therapy. We shall overcome!!

Not sure if this is related to the bug or not, but I just joined the community a few days ago, paid for my one year subscription, and now my page is showing that I am still an unsubscribed member, and does not allow me access to any of the personalized paths (except of the free ones.) Hope you guys can figure this issue out. Thank you!!

@Amelia - probably not but the bug did seem to interfere with the normal flow of signups, so this could have been related.

The revert should not have unsubcribed you. It could be that you subscribed while using a guest account. We'll have to get that fixed for you. Can you email support@7cups.com? Provide your username & any relevant information. We'll get you set up! Sorry about that!
@Laura is the bug the one that shows notifications that you received a personal request and then disappear like the wind? I'm quite worried I'm accidentally ignoring members like this because even if I attend to the notification immediately, it just poofs disappear! :o
