May 25: Updated Banners in the Forums
Hello All!
You may have noticed, but we have made a small tweak to the display in the forums. We are doing some experimentation to help us get to sustainability. Part of this includes letting people know about the additional support and resources available on our site. Rght now these options are still pretty hidden. We are experimenting with different options and you will continue to see tweaks to how and where do this.
Note: These banners are currently displaying in the listener forums. They will be removed from listener side of the house shortly.

Currently, this removes the ability to view new, needs reply, etc. for the different forum sections.
Also, the therapist info I keep getting is this:
Want expert help dealing with disabilities?
Yet if I go to the therapist section, disabilities is not an option of 'issues' that therapists deal with.

I just checked the new, top & needs reply buttons and I was able to click through. Are they working for you now? We may have just pushed a fix a little while ago
@Laura Nope, the buttons aren't there for the individual forum sections. They work for the forums overall, but if I select an area ie. Welcome, Get Support, etc. the buttons aren't an option.

That is very odd. I see them! Is anyone else having this issue?

I see them. Just they aren't centered like they used to be, they are in the right side of the screen. @AffyAvo
They are on the right on the main forum page, but I don't see them at all on the different sections. I have tried 2 different browsers.
@AffyAvo @Laura - I did a bit of experimenting and it looks like they are showing up on the right on my listener account, but not at all on my member account when in a specific forum.
@KrinkTheMellowUnicorn - is this a bug that's on your radar?

I'm still missing this. As a forum team member, being able to sort these by sections was really helpful to catch new stuff for the areas I help out with more.

Additionally, ive reached out to the tech team. We'd like to add disabilies to the therapist topic selection.

Thanks for the update! It's pretty weird to see banners about the new feature between posts of a thread. I personally would not like this to be a permanent change. It seems a bit pushy. But in various other places of the forum it can be good to see.
It does seem weird to me to have it in between posts - it feels like top or bottom would make more sense, but this may be deliberate to make it stand out more...not sure.

Thank you for that feedback. As mentioned, this is an experiment. Lets circle back to this in 1-2 weeks and see if changes can be made to location. Sound good?
