September 30: Redesigned Website Launch

I hate to be a debbie-downer, but i really really REALLLY dislike the new update. I think we should keep some of the old features... Such as the colors and the chat set-ups. As a semi- newish Listener i feel like i was more comfortable with the old website. Just my opinion

New design is really cool!

Still has some bugs that I will surely report but for me the biggest challenge is to be able to read... Text is kinda small and the colour of text is also a bit too light. Light on light background doesn't work too good. I have problem seeing for now. Hopefully I will be able to adapt soon.

A guided tour with voice over or something (video) would be really cool indeed!

All in all, big congrats to all the team who worked so hard in the last few months to this new design. I know how hard it is, I've been in a team where the big release was so important they had to ship haha so I can imagine how thrilled you must be to have it finally up. I've been doing stuff but I'm stuck in the same spot in my growth path.

This new design of 7 cups has changed the way we used to even feel about communication with others,the text is very thin,before it was dark & normal bold which was a lot easier to look at & read at. there is hardly any dark contrast in the new look which makes it too bright & light to look at,it even causes difficulty to find certain things sometimes,in the new look things which used to be close to each other,& were very durable have gone far away now,which makes it more time consuming to be able to act fast to guests & members in rush times., compared to old look this is very low & less comfortable to operate.the old look was more edgy in style,very good to look at & very durable.if there is any way possible to bring back the older one,that would be really delightful & appreciated. u can make some little changes in the old look & bring it back as a new one,better one.anyways,ur effort on this new look was very well. but,this doesn't seem to be working,so,if could rely on brining back the old one.that'll be good.thanks for reading this.

thx for all whom contributed to bring the new design.

in General, I found it lovely, cute, and elegant.

though, I do share some of my fellow listeners and members feedback about colors, font ,...etc.

as for me I have noticed two things that I would like to be taken into consideration.

the notification and messages buttons on up right side.

it would be more helpful it there was some indication for new notification as in the previous design.

also, I would suggest if its possible to have a smiley button in the chat room as here in the post box, it would be great ;)

I'll leave it here for now, as I'm quite sure that the amazing design team are doing their best to bring the most helpful experience for the new design.

Personally the one thing I don't like or actually really dislike about the new format is that everything is more spread out, and less concise and close together for ease of use. It seems more expanded and it's harder to follow the flow of the conversation the way it is now. But will attempt to free myself of judgments and try it this way, this is just initial reaction. And I don't like how in the chats the messages show up on opposite sides of the page. It seems it could be condensed more

I haven't had a chance to look around too much but I like it for the most part.

I do miss the differentiation with the circles and squares.
