Seeking Help
Mental stress can cause us not to be able to see the good things in life and lead to excessive rumination or worries which can result in serious health problems. If you have serious, long-term problems with negative thinking and feeling depressed, see your doctor or talk to a therapist if they are related to any mental challenges.

I keep my curiosity alive by constantly asking questions.
I love learning new facts.
My nephew has a million new ones to teach me everyday!
By keeping an open mind 💜💕
@Amanda84
Your nephew might be your best teacher 😃. If find if we have someone who asks lots of questions (provided not every minute though lol) we can learn a lot by researching the answers.

Let's just say, he's not even quiet when he's asleep 😂

It’s interesting that curious people are happier. I am usually very curious. When I am very depressed I feel less curious.
@QuietLightning
It's sad how depression can impact so many aspects of our lives and ourselves! This is a link to a post I found quite interesting https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-curiosity-can-overcome-depression-hery-dehaan-r7ycc
Good article! It is difficult to see the world around you when you are sitting in the deep, dark hole that is depression. If you can’t see the world around you - you can’t be curious.
@amiablePeace77
He he! Don't need to. Naturally curious and a big fact-checker!
I hope nobody confuses curiosity with.... snooping. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.

@Fradiga
You're a natural explorer! 👍
Snooping has quite a negative connotation, not the same as positive curiosity 😃
@amiablePeace77
You see, in French.... the same word is used for both curiosity and snooping. There is a better distinction in English, I must say.
I keep curiosity alive by learning new things.

Awesome! What did you learn recently?
@amiablePeace77
That an octopus 🐙 has three hearts 😁
Thank you.
I learned many new concepts at university which were previously not taught.
@amiablePeace77. I’ve always been curious. I used to take electronics and pens apart to see how they work then I would work on the item to put it back together. I did pretty good I must say. I also tried learning a few electrical things. I know how to change a non functioning plug on a cord to where it works again in the wall.
