Mental Health and Well-Being
One of the most crucial aspects of feeling content and well overall is taking care of one's mental health. Taking care of mental health is one of the most important things for feeling happy and healthy. However, mental health is not always fully understood, which can cause misunderstandings. These misunderstandings might stop someone from asking for help.
One example of a misconception is that "bad mental health means you're weak." In reality, bad mental health does not mean that someone is weak or has character flaws when struggling with mental health issues. These problems are caused by things like one’s surroundings, family history, and some stressful situations.
Mental health struggles don’t define a person, and seeking help is a sign of resilience and strength.
Mental well-being is not about being happy all the time. It means being able to feel and cope with different emotions as we go through life. This includes feeling happy and excited when things are good, and feeling sad or angry when we are hurt or in danger.

Seeking Help
Mental stress can cause us not to be able to see the good things in life and lead to excessive rumination or worries, which can result in serious health problems. If you have serious, long-term problems with negative thinking and feeling depressed, see your doctor or talk to a therapist if they are related to any mental challenges.

@amiablePeace77 my mental health sucks, but I have found little coping mechanisms along the way💖😁 my biggest coping mechanism is to spread a little bit of laughter wherever I go😁

What does mental well-being look like to you? I don't have to feel happy all the time, but I think it would be feeling mostly calmer and able to less rollercoastery.
How do you build resilience to face daily challenges? I try to balance distraction when I need it, with silence when I can tolerate it. I like reading and meditation. Right now I'm focusing more on boundaries. When I can feel like my power is my own, it helps me deal better with challenges that come up.

What does mental well-being look like to you?
Being an active participant in my own mental health. Having a sense of purpose in life beyond what I provide others. Joy. Happiness might not be all the time but I would like to have those moments more often and maybe they could last just a little longer.
How do you build resilience to face daily challenges?
I practice more self care, I work on hobbies, I spend time in nature. I've been working on self discovery. Some days are harder and I lose motivation.

It is a mixture of feelings, the most important one being at peace with oneself and others. I do not seek happiness but contentment within the limits of my life. I have met people who have seen hardships in their lives but they do not look at them as such. It is just anecdotal to those individuals.
This resilience is often acquired when you are very young. Resilience often means that you have enough self-discipline to minimize worries and self-inflicted troubles. A simple example is to keep your place clean and tidy. If you manage to do that, unannounced guests won't make you anxious that the place reflects on you negatively. If you keep an eye on your bank account regularly, you already know that you have enough to cover the next bill and minimize bad surprises.
