My friend made me get out of the house today when I was feeling sorry for myself and bleh. It made me feel more alive. :)

A moment when someone brightened my day was when a friend of mine helped me get at least some responses for my research.

A moment when I brightened someone else's day was on my birthday, I gave crochet bracelets to my classmates and they seem to like it. They even thanked me for the bracelet.

It’s true too! Look up the history of marshmallows originally from ancient Egypt. Though extremely different from what they are today, still very effective!

I was looking for ways to solve a practical problem at home and someone in a shop really endeavored to help me.
An acquaintance was feeling sad, and I invited her to the beach, gave her my sunbed and provided cool juices to drink. She really enjoyed being taken care of.

Well, through an association to which I belong here, I met a young man from Burkina Faso who had just finished his French class, but had to wait 3 hours to catch a bus home. So he came to man house for coffee (FOUR lumps of sugar in a cup?), chatting, meeting my son and the dogs (the dogs were a hit!) and answering some administrative email he had trouble with. When the time came, we exchanged phone numbers, my son put on his coat to walk him back to the bus, in case he got lost, and we kissed good bye, as the French do. Nothing says "Glad to know you" like a few hours of companionship
