@amiablePeace77 my emergency coping plan is to lock myself in my room, hide under my duvet and cry alot. Yep! It's not the best plan but it works for me
@amiablePeace77
Ami, I try to get from around the person as fast as I can, to keep from fighting them. Not a good plan, but if I can get to my She Shed, that is where I go alone, me and Max sometimes.
@WorkingitThrough2 how is your she shed going??? Have you painted it pink yet??
@Tinywhisper11
I have not painted it pink yet😊, but one of my friends came over and redecorated it with linplum and an aqua shag rug with other aqua decor. I did not know she was doing it. Great big surprise😊.
@WorkingitThrough2 oh wow! Aqua is a awsome colour plum is to😁 that was nice of your friend ❤❤❤ says a big thank you to your friend ❤❤ and gives you a giant tiny hug ❤
@Tinywhisper11
Thanks Whisper😊
@amiablePeace77 I get quiet and isolate
@mytwistedsoul we can hide together, and cry alot ❤❤
@Tinywhisper11 I haven't cried in months - I feel like I should but won't let myself 😞 but I'll have tissues for you ❤️
@mytwistedsoul oh that's sad😞 crying is good for you, but don't worry I'll cry enough for the both of us ❤
@amiablePeace77
Breathe … think … make a plan … include self care … who needs to be included ???
@SunShineAlwaysGrateful can I come hide behind you???
Yes 🙌🙌🙌🙌💕💕💕💕💕💕🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌💕💕💕🙌🙌
@SunShineAlwaysGrateful ❤❤ thankyou ❤❤
@amiablePeace77
It depends on the situation and the emergency, I think.
@Fradiga
I find it's always beneficial to have a variety of skills to cope with any situation that might come up.
@amiablePeace77
Some of us are lucky enough to have built-in skills. I think a lot of them come with experience. What would be a disaster for younger people are only worth a shrug by now
@amiablePeace77 What is your emergency coping plan for dealing with situations which upset you?
Do the STOP routine and start talking silently to myself to calm down. Maybe a round of Tai Chi or a warm shower.
@soulsings
These things sound very helpful soul! I believe the STOP technique is a really good tool to have!
@amiablePeace77 I agree.
