What makes you feel connected to others?
If I talk to my best friend who truly understands me, does not judge me but opens their heart to my thinking I feel connected. Sharing experiences with and listening to experiences from others makes me feel connected.

- When I can take off my mask and just be myself, The good, the bad, and the faulted. Someone that I can be honest with that does not make light or dismiss my concerns. I have had to learn to bottle up my feelings for so long that finding a place to connect with others, even if it is virtual helps me a great deal.

The connection to others means being yourself you can be vulnerable and get undeniable acceptance no matter what … a true soul friend is that person.

"Connection" might be on a spectrum. I easily feel connected, but I would not say it is always 100%. One example is, for instance, that you disagree about socio-politics with that person, but you love them to death anyway and always have good times. Another is appalled by my country life habits and generally lackadaisical look at house cleaning, but we have fun conversations. I want to connect big time with them because of their knowledge in stuff I want to know about.
So having SOME connection is often enough.
@Fradiga I hear you. I guess cleaning is not as important to me as others in my family. I try to keep things clean and organized, but sometimes it is clean but not so organized.
