Whispers *reset of my nervous system*
I was married to a gambling addict,
this morning i was setting something up for my mom on her phone and a betting site popped up, my body just froze and for a few moments i couldnt function. Amidst wanting to burst out in tears and fighting the thought that another person i love could be doing this.
Wish i could hug my soul and tell it thats its only a pop up and that she is safe 🫂🤍

I can't even begin to imagine what you've gone through. Addiction can be really harmful, not just to the person dealing with it, but also to the friends and family who care about them.

It has been a complete rollercoaster, half the time im not sure what im doing because the aftermath is just as bad but we soldier on, only by the mercy of the Almighty 🤍.
