What was your favorite thing about Easter as a child? Do you have a particular family tradition to celebrate this holiday?
Well, outside a church filled with flowers, the best silver and linen out on the altar and many more people than usual, there is the singing of a four-part choir, with organ and trumpets, a great gathering at the end of the service in the parish hall, and of course, everyone dressed to the nines.

Easter is a big religious celebration and it seems to have been quite an event in that parish church! Sounds beautiful!

High church Anglican/Episcopalian. The clergy often take a vacation right after.... 😊
@amiablePeace77 I'm still a child at heart and my favourite thing about easter is eating chocolate😍😍😍😍😍😋 and my family is me and my guinea pigs, our favourite tradition. Is me not sharing chocolate with them😈 happy easter😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

What I like about springtime, is witnessing the return of nature - the leaves returning on the trees, the various birds & animals returning (some with offspring!), the return of the circle of nature life, whether trees, plants, animals. Mother Nature is amazing!

I so agree with what you said, it's like Mother Nature celebrates a spring party!
Can't say I have any fond memories of Easter in particular not trauma related or anything just that they were pretty uneventful and I was the type of kid that sat inside while all the other kids occupied outside, but I do remember hard boiling eggs and painting them which was probably the only time I was good with painting lol

I think it's easier to become good at something when we enjoy it. Are you still painting eggs for Easter.

Haven't had the chance to this year unfortunately but maybe if i can find some friends to do it with I might take it into consideration next time and as a small correction I said it wasn't related to any past traumas
