@AshleyNFlewellenLPC my week is going okay. There are always challenges in life. It is sad to see how much suffering there is in the world, but it puts my own suffering in perspective.

Hi, Ashley,
I started off very depressed but ended up ok.
I am feeling okay today.
Rollcoaster... On monday was meh. Then not good. Then better and now i feel amazing.
I wish it could be more stable... I'm happy right now th

My week has been partially stressful but I also received a relieving news eventually.
Today feels like a fresh start. I'm acknowledging my flaws. I'm accepting me for who I am. I will work towards my goals with a newfound belief forgiving my old mistakes.

I am doing very well in my effort to stop smoking for an upcoming surgery on my ankle. I feel much better breathing and I can sleep better through the night.

Still looking for a new therapist. Waiting to hear back from a couple. The waiting gets exhausting.
Start of the week I was very anxious, my baby girl (44) got results back and will not need open heart surgery YET.
Then back to work and everything went down hill from there 😔 . I am counting the days till retirement, work has been nothing but headaches lately. I think it's 106 business days to go 😁🤗
@braindamag3 106 days and counting💖💖 I'm so sorry about your daughter🙁 i pray she will never need that surgery, bless her and bless you, I'll keep you both in my prayers 💖hugs you tightly 💖
oh and to cure a headache just stick your head out a window and the pane will dissapear 😂😂

Thanks hugs are always welcomed 🤗😁, we are also hoping she never needs to have open heart surgery to replace a valve.
I wish I could stick my head out a window and the pane disappear, alas my office is in a dungeon area and no windows 🤪

We are allotted 3 sick days a year but over the last 3 or 4 years, I have tried to take 12 each year. 🤧🤧😁
@braindamag3 I hear you. When I was counting down the days to retirement, I started a journal of any wild idea I had about what I wanted to do in retirement. One was to help people with mental health issues so that led to be a 7 Cups listener.
I did an evaluation of what I would miss most about work and tried to find ways to replace that in retirement. Anything you can do to prepare for your next career in retirement will make it more meaningful and full. Avoid ending up in the rocking chair races!
Helping others has been the cause of more happiness in my life than any self fulfilling activity.

A lot of my wife's friends are in there 70's, and news stuff done, I'm somewhat of a handyman and will do odd jobs here and there.
There is only one thing I will miss most after 25 years and the is my only friend that I have.
I'm an IT manager and so not want anything to do with computers after. I'm sure my wife will keep me busy and not allow me to sit in a rocking chair 😁
