I always loved to play mill and checkers as a child but also as an adult and thinking about which was the best move to make.

For many years, I played bridge with my grandparents. Then discovered cribbage. I like to observe others playing without being in the game (often too loud).
@Fradiga
It can get really excited when you watch a game and see others doing their moves (and might want to tell them to move differently 😃).
No..... I would make observations at the end or the next day... or keep them to myelf: "this player is too expressive, this one is trying to keep up, this one is actually NOT a player... and why is my brother always keeping the bank? Why are they so loud?"

Old Maid and Marbles and Double Duch rope

I was not made to play the games cause Mom thought I should but when I was allowed outside I had to hide to have a bit of fun.

What is or was the most fun game you ever played as a child or adult? Milton Bradley had a board game called LIfe and you drive around in a lillte plastic car getting life experience and a family and you get to the end and see how life turns out.
What was so special about it? I got to imagine possible scenarios in life.
