I did a major repair of something, and it worked out well! Never thought I can do it.

The biggest risk was just letting people go, saying no, creating boundaries and putting me first and it's working out great 💖💜

What was the biggest risk you took this year?
Taking a solo trip to my birth town.
How did it work out?
I visited the vicinity and ancient structure mostly by myself. The area is said to be unsafe especially for women. People who live there hold a very regressive mindset. I wore what I wanted to and behaved how I wanted to not worrying about complying with societal expectations. Turned out to be the most fun getaway of the year.

this probably doesn't count, but taking a leap of face and getting out of a mental state i've been dealing with for a while - How did it work out?
im not saying it's perfect now, but i've gotten a lot better!

I contacted a family member that I had cut off because she has been cruel to me all my life. I asked her for a loan.
It's been bumpy.
@purpleTree4652 sometimes we need people that we disagreed with in the past.
@soulsings I have agoraphobia so I can only travel 1 mile, this year for the first time in 5 or more years I first went 2.5 miles, and then a huge 4.2 miles. It was a major achievement because I realized for the first time in years I can beat this (In time).

@soulsings Being I have been homeless someone allowed me to crash in their home. Once the person started verbally abusing me and continued doing for a few months I took the risk of leaving despite knowing I have no where to go and by leaving I can not follow up on any of my most critical medical appointments but as important as my medical is I also felt it very vital to continue keeping my mental health stable. I worked too hard to get where I am mentally and I refuse to let anyone destroy that as well as I refuse to accept anyone abusing me again. I been there done that for too many years and I am done being treated in such a way.
