What helps you to reply to these messages with a clear mind, instead of reacting out of frustration?
I like to take a brief moment to process the content. I take my time in formulating a response in my head. I occasionally reach out to a trusted friend or family member to seek their support in constructing a reply.
I think that responding positively helps other people, reacting out of frustration doesn’t help anyone. What .helps me is thinking about who will be reading it.
@soulsings
I find going for a walk outside helps to clear my mind so I can respond mindfully.
Block. Instantly. XD

There is a big difference between phone calls and emails and WHO they are from.
In a phone call, the best is to stay quiet and not take the bait. If you are not at fault, just hang up or hand your phone over to the 3-year old next to you.
For emails, give yourself time to reply. If you feel like writing down immediately how you feel, do not send until you have reviewed the whole thing after you've "slept on it".

@soulsings I've learned to take a pause to give myself time to reply rather than react.
@soulsings
I am still working on that. I get really furious but it's work so I have to still reply in a good respectable manner even if the person who emailed me is disrespectful and unprofessional.
The mot important thing is to keep telling ourselves that their behaviour has nothing to do with us and that we shouldn't take their words or actions personally. Hopefully that will reduce our frustration, however this may be one of the most difficult things as we have our own wounds
@Iv02 good advice
@soulsings
Thank you :)
@soulsings I usually find that I need to sit with it and think about it for a few hours before I even attempt to reply. It gives me time to process my initial feelings so that when I finally do respond, I’m coming from a place of clarity rather than just reacting.

What helps me stay composed is giving myself time before responding.
When I receive a message that upsets me, I try not to react immediately.
Instead, I take a step back, reflect on the situation, and focus on responding in a way that aligns with my values rather than my emotions.
I remind myself that not every message deserves an emotional reaction, and that maintaining my peace is often more important than winning an argument.
