What's causing you the most worry or stress right now?

I'm learning to let go of things I cannot control, including past disappointments and unmet expectations. Sometimes I worry about whether I'm making the right decisions for my future and personal growth.

How do you cope with that?

I cope by focusing on what I can control, practicing self-reflection, listening to podcasts, learning new things, and reminding myself to take life one day at a time. Supporting others through active listening also helps me gain perspective and stay grounded.

Struggling with family and marriage dynamics. Kinda struggling to cope with it. I feel anxious. But for once, I’m not really running from it. I’m trying to handle my stress in more healthy ways. And it hurts. But it also I think is helping.

A pipe leak in my old apartment has been causing me the most worry and stress since the 16th. Found out the complex wanted (well they really had no other choice) to relocate me so I had to take time off from work to go through things which was a lot. The new apartment was ready on the 22. Had movers vome that Sunday to move what they could. Apartment office called me on the 23 wanting to know if they could go in and do the carpets. I didn't get the message until later.  don't remember what happened after that. They were going to go in there on Tuesday so I called them back I guess.

Last Tuesday or maybe Thursday, I got a call from the assistant property manager asking if they could go in to remove the carpet fans. I said they could but I still had things in the apartment. He was annoyed with that. Said it takes most people two days to switch apartments (of course they have help) and asked how long I'd need. I asked if I could have until Monday. He said something about legal fees and the locks would be changed Monday because technically, I'm not there any more.

I've gone to the apartment in the evenings for the past three days (more time on the weekend because I don't work weekends) to go through things. There was a lot and I discovered that a big chunk of what I had wasn't even mine. It was things from relatives that I somehow got custody of. I had originally thought of having a charity organization do a pick-up for things that I had no use for and had not been damaged by water (had to get rid of a lot of clothes) but they had no availability until the 15th of this month. Then I thought that I could box it up and take it to the new place and then do a pick-up when they had an availability but when I tried to pick up the boxes, I found I couldn't do it. That was after eleven last night. I didn't get back until midnight and didn't get to sleep until sometime after that with my alarm going off at 3:30.

I haven't slept well since the leak (mainly because I'm on the floor at the new place until I can get a new bed) and I haven't eaten much over the past few days (been trying to get things cleared). I wasn't able to contact anyone for assistance and the apartment complex has done nothing aside from relocating me (which they had to do). Tried doing an insurance claim but it was denied because I didn't have enough damage to make it worth the effort to pay out insurance. Tried getting legal advice but it was basically the same thing. It wasn't worth the lawyer's time to pursue the matter.

I'm out a few hundred dollars for moving what could be moved and I'll probably have to pay another fee for all that was left in the apartment. I did what I could even with joint pain but it apparently wasn't enough.

Not really sure if I'm coping or not. It's just me and a dog so I really don't have any choice.

Being in a committed relationship of 1 year and 9 months is scaring me because I'm always worried I am gonna get hurt in the end like everyone else did

I have no way to cope with this, I'm genuinely traumatized by being hurt in every relationship I've been in. I talk about it sure, I do things to distract myself, but I can't escape the worry consuming my every thought and making me depressed.

It almost seems like it would have been easier to never date again. But I love the guy I'm with. This comes with the territory right?

@charmingSky5972 I hear you.

Any relationship will end by separating, death, accidents moving in different directions, etc. The only way to protect myself is to stop expecting relationships to be permanent. that is not easy.

@soulsings

Right now, the thing causing me the most stress is having my member account suddenly deactivated.

It happened only a few hours ago, but it has completely taken over my thoughts.

I keep wondering what happened, whether I was misunderstood, and whether I will ever get my account back.

What makes it harder is the uncertainty.

I have already submitted an appeal and requested a review, but now all I can do is wait.

Waiting is difficult when you care deeply about something.

My insomnia actually started before this happened, but this situation made it much worse.

I haven't been able to sleep properly.

I have barely eaten.

My chest feels tight with anxiety.

I feel emotionally drained and physically exhausted at the same time.

I cried so much that my eyes became swollen.

It may sound strange to some people, but this account meant a lot to me. It was a place where I spent time talking, sharing my thoughts, seeking support, and connecting with others.

Losing access so suddenly feels like losing a part of my daily life without warning.

As for how I cope with it, honestly, I am still trying to figure that out.

Right now I am taking things one hour at a time.

I am trying to remind myself that the review process is not finished yet.

I am trying to be patient even though patience feels impossible.

I am trying to hold on to hope that someone will review the full context and give me a fair chance.

At the moment, I think what I need most is sleep, answers, and a little bit of peace.

Because I feel like a walking zombie running on stress, tears, and uncertainty.
