- What do you like most about the month of November?
- What is most challenging this time of the years as we approach the holidays?
I enjoy the cooler weather in November and particularly being able to go for walks outside in the weekend. Tbh I do not feel any challenges at this time of the year. The hurricane season is almost over and I look forward to the holidays and of course all the good food. It's a time of the year when I pamper myself a little more than normally since all work in the garden and around the house is done.

@Tinywhisper11 the most challenging thing about Xmas is, I wish I could spend it with my son😥 but I bought him a remote control car😁 it's so cool, I bought myself one too😁 hopefully Xmas day will be a nice day and I can go outside with him, and have a little play ❤

I love the smell of Fall weather. Plus, November really starts up all the family time and I love that.
I don’t like this time of year because I feel more stressed. There is a lot of running around and it seems like it’s just go go go go until Christmas and I just don’t seem to keep up.
@thoughtfulmomma especially with kids and family it is a very busy time of year.
@soulsings the holidays are challenging. Family is gone or away on vacation so in our house there are not many festivities. I look at the longer range changes like the seasons. I am very fond of spring.

@soulsings I like the nostalgia that early winter brings, I like going on walks and it still being dark outside. I like all the sweet warm drinks and treats. I like wearing sweaters too.
What I find challenging is that all the nostalgia also brings back memories of loss. Remembering the times when everything else was bright and beautiful while I was mourning the loss of my whole world.
I love winter and its celebrations for all that it once was but it's also a difficult time as things have changed a lot. Hope time keeps on doing its healing :)

- What is most challenging this time of the years as we approach the holidays? The most challenging thing in this month is my completion of assignments and tasks.
@soulsings I really don't care for the month of November. I lost both dogs, one just last year a few days before Thanksgiving and the other a couple years before on Thanksgiving. Last year on Thanksgiving my father went into the hospital and never came out. The holidays are just reminders of loss
@mytwistedsoul understandable<3 all the holidays act as a reminder of some kind of lack when we've experienced loss. The not caring about it must have come after a lot of pain.
@BlueDarkAurora The holidays do serve as a big reminder. In some ways the losses are noticed daily but it becomes more painfully obvious around this time of year

@BlueDarkAurora I don't think that's a silly wish at all. ❤️ There are times I still expect a text message. Or I'll dream that he called and left a voicemail. And sometimes I think I can still hear the dogs, the tic of their nails or their sighs while the sleep. It's just my mind playing tricks but it still hurts ❤️

We'll all get to meet them again and I think at first I'll just talk about me xD and then ask them how they are doing. Or maybe words won't be needed. Who knows but all I know is that this can't be the last goodbye.

Wishing our loved ones could come back for just one more day is not silly, I always wish my son could be here 🙂 ❤ I bought him a present I always do, and yes they live within us, so their never really gone ❤ we will definitely meet them again oneday. But let's not hope that one-day comes soon for any of us ❤ I love you all ❤

I love November because it's the beginning of autumn and the holiday season is close to beginning.
It's hard to always remember to stay grateful and thankful of what you have
