It's weird but the key to contentment for me is validation. I want my efforts to be seen. I want people to appreciate and acknowledge me. I'm trying to get over this mechanism because I know it isn't healthy for my well being.

I have a couple pen pals. One in particular is nice to write back and forth with. I have a tumblr about animals. I write in here and talk on sharing circle sometimes.

For 25 years, it was being able to come home and have dinner with my children. No matter how bad of a day I had, I knew it was worth it. Now, I'm still searching for a replacement to fill that void. I'm not having much luck.
