How does autumn relate to life for you?

Autumn reminds me of the impermanence of life, that change is inevitable, but also that rebirth takes place in many ways. We see the grass and leaves turning from green to brown and it might look lifeless but then autumn shows us the most beautiful vibrant colours for a while until the winter comes. I believe when you experience something so great for only a short amount of time, you also realize how lucky you were to have it, even if only briefly.

Autumn is a time where I feel life is ending. WHen the leaves fall off, the signs of life are gone and it feels like the later years of life where the body does not work as well as it used to.

I hear you soul, my body does not work neither as good as when young anymore but I still want to explore the beauty in this world, even if it's tough on some days. Sending sunshine your way 🌞

Nostalgic question for me. Autumn meant my birthday coming soon and back to school, a time of the year I enjoyed, because of all the new books, the smell of my pencil box and my satchel (made of leather back then), new uniform parts, renewing friendships and meeting the new comers, not just my classmates, but the sisters and teachers too. Gardens have a different smell, it's windy, it's also a great fruit season... what's NOT to love?

Autumn reminds me of how life is continuously changing and nothing ever stays the same. It is a beautiful and reflective time to go walking, especially in the woods with all of the leaves falling around us. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons as I love the smell and sound of the rain too. 🍂

@amiablePeace77 Autumn is letting go. Saying good bye to the brightness of summer. Autumn is preparing for introspection and embracing change. It's refreshing but sometimes sad. I have to remind myself to go with the flow and no resist.

To me autumn means mold spores and raking leaves.

Oh yes, so many leaves! I used to dislike it until I learned to turn leaves into soil but composting them.
I'm not really the fond of autumn. I associate it with death. The leaves look pretty when they first change but then they're all brown and need cleaned up and the woods look dead. Then winter comes and it seems to last forever
@mytwistedsoul there is part of me that remembers all the losses when Autumn rolls around and winter begins. I try to find things on this site to cheer me up.
