When do you find yourself crying?
Some people tear up when someone says a nasty comment to them. Other people cry and cry watching a sad film.

What Makes You Cry?
@soulsings For me, it's the tone of someone's voice or the words they use if it's rude or dismissive. I grew up with narc parents and they still use the same tone occasionally which makes me very angry becuase they still think it's okay to treat me like a 10 yo child when I disagree with them. I am very sensitive to criticism because of their parenting as well. I try to hide or run away when I can feel tears coming because I don't want others to see me cry and also don't want to explain why I am crying.
When i feel down about myself or when my self-esteem is really low i tend to cry.
When I remember the good days, the memories of what used to be and will never be again. Over a soppy film sometime I will cry more than you normally would just because you need to cry to let all the emotions out ❤️
@soulsings
When I'm alone
When I feel worthless
When specific-person-i-shall-not-name says mean things to me
@soulsings sad film forsure, I mean when you grow up in a household where nasty things are said to you constantly, you grow 'thick skin'
For quite an emotional person I reserve my tears..... I find myself refusing to let it all out and instead, find the little things that tug at the heart are just enough for me to fall apart
@soulsings when i saw my bf with some other friend behind my back ....
@SoulfulSound oh no I hope things were not as they appeared to be. Sometimes my mind makes up stories that turn out to be untrue and I make an innocent situation into a terrible one. That can really cause me to suffer.
I always wanted a relationship that would last and so I guess the older I get the more I accept that no relationship is forever. It seems like a bummer, but I try to appreciate a relationship when it is good and not grieve too much when it turns bad.
@soulsings they both were not into eachother ... But he lied to me to be with her when he knew that i was deadly sick ...
Sometimes it's not just one specific reason, it happens when life becomes too much/to overwhelming. Sometimes I feel like I have delayed emotional reactions. I may cry about something later, or after the fact, once I've had time to process a situation.
Animal cruelty/pain is very upsetting to me. For the most part, I do not watch animal movies because that's something that would stick with me for a long time. I love HP, but I'll never be able to watch the last one again due to the animal cruelty in the film!
@soulsings
My eyes will occasionally actually tear up if I find something to be really brilliant in a song, movie, video game, book, etc.
@soulsings I always cry silently inside, so nobody can see it, but almost never show real tears. I know it's not the best way...
@UncreativeMe I guess I hid tears as a kid because having a lot of emotions was not accepted in my family
However you deal with feelings, as long as no one is harmed that is fine.
@soulsings I didn't hide as a kid and no one said anything against it. But I understaand know that now no one is accepting it, because my family always wants to be the 'perfect happy family'...
